"Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. "Home was beautiful. Dinner was perfect from menu selection, presentation, and service from David. He was spot on bringing the dishes. And the price was fantastic. Tapas was also very good. Management(owner) was so nice and helpful. You could see Montserrat from the yard(and our bedroom window). This house was built in 1712. It is a farm 35 minutes from Barcelona airport. Very easy drive. We even made it back to the airport without GPS guideance. This is a must stay if you are in the area."
