"I will post pictures. The outdoor area was very nice and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The inside was another matter. Peeling paint, rusty chairs and doorknobs, quick cheap fixes to electrical outlets and a bathtub that was so old that no matter how much it was scrubbed, the dirt would never come out. I doubt these fixes are up to code. One elevator was horrible...vinyl flooring that was coming up, puddles, dirty walls etc.
We also had trouble with parking. My husband is a 100% disabled wartime veteran with a disabled parking plate. Cars were parked in the disability zones that did not seem to have any plate or card qualifying them for parking there.
We were awoken at 11 pm and told to move our car from the cottage area. We didn't know this area had assigned parking. My husband had to move our car to an overflow area across the street and cross the highway with little lighting. He believes a young employee was parked in the disabled space. This same employee told me "some people just forget to put their disabled permit up" When we checked out, the manager did not seem to care at all. When I asked him why employees didn't park across the street on a holiday weekend, he just shrugged. This was our second visit and the deterioration was evident. The property needs to be inspected for code violations.
