Great Location. Everything Else Is a Liability. The location is convenient, but that's where the good news ends.We stayed seven days in a house advertised to sleep 25. We found a property that has been maintained at the absolute bare minimum required to keep the word "furnished" in the listing. Bring everything you actually need. The problems weren't minor inconveniences. The smoke detector had been removed from the master bedroom. Two downlights were falling out of the ceiling. The lamp by the master bed strobed like a nightclub. The microwave keypad barely functioned. It gets worse. The pool chairs are so old and sagging that you sit on the cross-bars. The outdoor furniture has no cushions. The living room furniture is rock hard. The air hockey table is advertised, although the cord has been cut so there is no “air”. The pool table is advertised, but the felt is so loose balls won't roll, and of the two cues provided, one has no tip and one has a new tip, but no chalk. We noticed an ice cream scoop and bought ice cream to celebrate a small victory, only to discover the scoop had no wiper arm.For the 25 people: there is one 50-gallon water heater, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one bath towel per person, one washcloth per bathroom, and one kitchen towel for the entire group. One.This is not a vacation rental. It's a revenue-generating property being run on fumes and hope. The owner clearly banks on the location doing all the work. Don't let it work on you.
