It was OK for the price. We'd probably stay again due to the limited options in the area.
The "important" areas were cleanly - like bedding, kitchen, and toilet/tub. However, there was a lot of dust and grime built up. You could tell that the place hasn't been dusted or properly deep cleaned in months. It was a pretty big turn-off for us and we didn't feel overly comfortable using the kitchen or provided utensils. Outside of our unit in particular, there were pigeons living in the framing. They were loud, and there were pigeon droppings everywhere.
This place is also right next to the Oregon Scenic railroad tracks. We wouldn't have minded with warning...but were not expecting the train to roll through at full whistle at 10:45pm.
We did enjoy the proximity to the beach, and I actually liked not having to speak to motel staff or interact with anyone on check-in/check out. Check-out instructions were lacking. We cleaned and tidied upon departure like we always do, but would have preferred explicit instructions on dishes, linens, and trash.
