The condo, location and property itself was great. Our kids loved the slide at the pool so much and the ice maker in the room was a game changer! However, I’m still not convinced I would come back and it has nothing to do with the Host or property. It’s the elevators at the condo. They. Were. Awful. If we did go back, I would time my check in time completely different. There are only 6 elevators for the entire condominium. 6 seems like a lot. It’s not. Between 4:30-6 everyday they are packed with long lines. Expect to wait when you’re coming in from the beach or be like sardines inside. And when you check in, do not check in during this time frame. Between the people coming up from the beach and other folks checking in during that window, the elevator situation was absolute chaos. We got there at 4:30 and it took us over an hour to get an elevator with ONE cart up. And I had to ride it down, just to go back up to 18. Every single elevator that came to our floor was packed with people and we couldn’t even fit a single person, let alone a cart. After waiting and waiting, we ended up lugging all our stuff up, via multiple trips, the 6 flights of stairs (parking garage stop at floor 12). I really wish the Host would adjust the check in time to 3 or 3:30, when the elevators aren’t as busy because that was an awful way to start off a vacation. I highly recommend if you check in during the summer season, check in after 6:30!
