"Pros: The hosts are so wonderful and friendly and made us feel very welcome! The house is big and open planned. The swimming pool is clean and big. Great to have a petanque area outdoors - this area sees the shade the earliest, as located on a lower level to the house, the middle level hosts the pool and the upper level is the house level with a huge(!) balcony overlooking the pool with lake views. There is a massive umbrella to seek the shade for lunchtimes on the balcony. The house is located...

2/10 Terrible

"On arrival after 5 hours riding motorcycles on a hot day, entry to car park over broken concrete drain and speed bump. Main door to reception locked. Eventually a man arrived. Booked into a room, advised no chef so restaurant closed for evening meal. Rooms basic, area overgrown bushes, outside furniture broken. Concrete steps worn out. Needs urgent refurbishment. Our stay 2 nights. No milk at breakfast. Croissants poorly cooked. No room service. Broken window catch, broken interior light, bath chipped and unclean black mold on wall tiles. Its is obvious this place is close to being abandoned. Awful."

"Une belle maison en pleine nature.Nous avons passé une excellente semaine ici.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de passer du temps sur la terrasse. Le terrain est couvert de chênes. On se croirait au cœur d'une petite forêt.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité du lac.En juin, l'intérieur de la maison était encore agréablement frais malgré plusieurs jours où il faisait plus de 30 degrés dehors.Des propriétaires très sympathiques. La communication s'est très bien passée malgré notre maîtrise limitée du français.Nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ inhabituels ont également été pris en compte sans problème et avec gentillesse."

"Location is very calm and attractive. The whole hotel exudes an atmosphere of quiet, yet generous simplicity and a modern interpretation of rustic charm. The bedroom was more than adequate and the whole deal was good value There is ample parking and the breakfast was sumptuous in range, quantity and quality. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service on the evening of our stay, being a Sunday. Otherwise top notch."

"Beautiful villa converted into hotel by extending the property. Very modern interior. The property is only 2 stories surrounding a modern pool area with an attached bar area. Our room was on the first floor pool side. It was large and spacious. They had a bottle of wine awaiting us with a sweet hand written note. The room was modern and up to date. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also modern and had all amenities. The property is in a small cozy town with a few restaurants, boulangeries and ice cream shop, etc. It is about half an hour from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and about 45 minutes from Gorges du Verdon. Since we checked in late, they allowed us quite a late check out. This was an excellent property that I highly recommend and would stay there again."
