Average hotel with rooms needing to be refurbished

Hotel easy to find. Good underground parking. Rooms need to be refurbished. Marks on wall and wallpaper peeling off at joins. Breakfast OK but no staff allocated to welcome, check room no etc. Generally flatters to deceive.

Reasonable value...

Very comfortable bed (room 237). Strange to have reception adjoining the bar. Multiple entances very useful. Pleasant evening entertainment. Enjoyed restaurant menu. Fairly good location although not first row to the sea. Unusual layout on ground floor but seemed to work as generally busy for food and drinks.

Arrivo alle 23. Incontro una dipendente del ristorante posizionato sotto l'hotel e ridice che l'hotel è chiuso !! (dopo che avevo fatto regolare prenotazione). Dopo assurde peripezie comprendo (per puro caso !!) che si tratta di una sorta di associazione tra hotel (mi pare 4) ed il check in viene fatto su altro hotel (il mio è aperto !). Per comprendere dove fare il check in , effettuare due viaggi alla reception perché la chiave non funzionava trascorre 1 ora ! Posto splendido, hotel carino, servizio pessimo

Great food, service, and views!

The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was one of the nicest I have ever had. The breakfast was great, and the views were amazing - much better than I expected since we were not right on the water, but we were high enough to see the Sea in two directions. The one big downside was the internet did not extend to my room, so it seems you have to choose between the rooms with a great view and the rooms close enough to the server to get wifi. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Excellent location in Opatija

The hotel was in an excellent location with great amenities. The dining at the hotel was very good with a choice of casual dining and cafe food. The service was good and parking available.

Hotell Continental i Opatija

Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vårt rum rengjordes inte en morgon, trots att en av oss bett städerskan att städa rummet när hon var utanför. det kan ev. ha haft att göra med en språkförbristning. Utöver det var det en väldigt trevlig vistelse! Jag och min kompis trivdes väldigt bra! då det inte finns jättemycket att göra i Opatija så pendlade vi i princip bara mellan hotellet samtliga dagar, förutom en dag då vi tog en båttur. Det var väldigt skönt att det inte fanns mycket att göra, så att man verkligen kunde vila ut istället för att känna att man "måste" springa runt och se och uppleva saker.

Nice hotel in lovely area

Hotel in a lovely area, great bar and restaurant. Breakfast in sister hotel great with huge variety but rather busy go early. Try their buffet dinner too. Room was a bit dated but in character and plenty of space. Air conditioning took quite a while to get the room cool but worked eventually.

Inte mer än ett ok hotell

Inget wi-fi i rummen. Dåligt wi-fi i hotellobbyn. AC:n funkade inte första dagen (ingen kompensation för det). AC:n var så dålig så att det inte märktes om den var på resten av dagarna. Dåligt städat med hår på golvet i badrummet vid ankomst och svarta beläggningar i duschen. Frukosten var ok, inte mer än det. Väldigt varm lokal som alla svettades i.

Everything fine, nothing brilliant nor bad

Window was tiny and hilarious providing the seawiew. Ok room, nothing special breakfast was served at Grand hotel and it was just exellent. Seafood restaurant close by the harbour. Own restaurant was nice and dinner was possible to have outside.

Sehr gutes gepflegtes Hotel. Super Frühstück

Sehr gutes Hotel. Die Tiefgarage kostet leider 20€ pro Tag. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Jedentag war live Musik im Hotel. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen. Frühstück war sehr sehr gut

Esperianza positiva nel suo insieme

L'esperienza nel suo insieme è stata positiva, anche se l'aria condizionata era poco efficace, però la struttura è bella, molto curata, il personale gentile e l'accesso al mare molto bello. Degno di nota positiva il caffè con pasticceria, la cioccolateria e l'Osteria da Ugo all'interno della struttura.

Fantastiskt hotell!

Airconditionen fungerade inte på rummen. Vi fick en bordsfläkt men den hjälpte inte så bra. Hotellet stod för vår parkeringskostnad som kompensation. Ok tyckte vi. Mycket god mat och trevlig personal.

Nie wieder!

Katastrophe,nie wieder! Das essen vom hotel war eckelhaft, Badezimmer war dreckig, für den Parkplatz haben sie 20€ am tag verlangt, es wäre gut gewesen wenn sie es früher angegeben hätten dass die Parkmöglichkeit überteuert ist. Dafür dass man nach dem parken fast nicht aussteigen hat können weil der Parkplatz zu eng gewesen ist, sind 20€ zu viel verlangt. Das telefon hat nicht funktioniert, der Pool war so eckelhaft dreckig.

Defrauda en todo. Mala relación precio/calidad.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba, nos pasaron a otra habitación más pequeña y sin vista al mar, además de maloliente. A medianoche no queda nadie en recepción, si tienes algún problema, debes bajar unos cuantos pisos hasta otro hotel de la misma cadena. Hotel viejo con muebles viejos. No lo recomiendo. No es buena relación precio/calidad. No volvería.

Great service and location

Overnight stop on our way south through Croatia, Opatija is a beautiful resort in a lovely setting. The hotel is well located and has a really good range of cafes bars and restaurants with super service
