Beautiful, spacious 3 BR, 2BA home, close to everything the UP has to offer!

Our beautiful home is a spacious tri-level, well-appointed open concept, with 3 bedrooms, (queen in first bedroom, two twin beds in second bedroom, and a queen in third bedroom) all new memory foam beds and bedding, 2 baths, laundry, large front and back deck, grill, 50" Roku TV with cable, and Wi-Fi. We are only 5 miles to Lake Superior and 10 miles to the Porcupine Mountains. Snowmobiling and UTVing happen right out the front door with access to hundreds of miles of trails. Konteka Black Bear Restaurant and convenience store is just blocks away for last minute items, gas, or a great meal.
The town of White Pine is a quaint little town of about 400, rich with the history of copper mining. You will have access to the entire house, but not the garage. There is plenty of room on the property for snowmobile, boat, and UTV trailers.

*There are paper products/garbage bags/soap supplied at the time of your arrival. It is your responsibility to bring anything additional for the remainder of your stay.

*There is a fire pit for your enjoyment. We do not supply firewood, but you are welcome to look around the property for any wood and brush for your campfire. Please be responsible with fire and make sure it is extinguished when leaving area.

This is a comfortable and well-appointed home. It has everything a family could need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the hikes in The Porcupine Mountains by day and returned to fix delicious dinners in the evening, followed by games and sleep in the comfy beds. We hope to return someday soon, perhaps to experience snow up there.

Had a great time staying at this location. Visited Lake of the Clouds and Bond falls. House was clean and had a nice layout for hanging out after riding. Konteca Resort is close by and serves food, has bar and convenient store for basic needs. Will definitely return.

All was as stated in the listing. All the pots, pans and utensils needed and clean, close to the lake and the Porkies. I will say, the paper products thing was a surprise. It is listed in the property description but I was disappointed and how much “to get you started” amounted to. There was a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom along with a few tissues. We were in need of more by the first morning. Given the cost to have these stocked, seemed like a pretty big hassle.

Porcupine Mountains

This is our second stay at this location. First stay we were here with our daughter, this time just the two of us. Had a great time both times. House is great and in a convenient location to travel from to see area waterfalls and hike the trails. We took some nice pictures of the Northern Lights from the balcony. Thank you for sharing your home.

Quite getaway close to Hikes

Really enjoyed this property- felt like home. Pack your consumables though (no dishsoap, sparce dish pods, paper towel, toilet paper, and bathroom soaps). Really enjoyed the lay out of the home though worked great for two families- upstaris has two beds and one bath- downstairs has the other bed and bath.

Home Away from Home

We felt right at home here. The house is nicely decorated and furnished with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The location was a perfect half way point for visiting the Apostle Islands boat tour and the Keweenaw Peninsula (both about a 2 hour drive). Plus Lake of the Clouds is only 20 minutes away. It was kind of hard getting the keys out of the foam liner in the key holder. Maybe bring some tweezers. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. It’s one of the nicest houses in the area and we would definitely stay here again.

Cute, clean house near lots of nature!

We had a wonderful stay in White Pine! The house was super clean and cute and accommodated 6 adults comfortably. It’s just a short drive up to Lake Superior. We explored waterfalls, the Porcupine Mountains, and other shops nearby. I would highly recommend staying at Julie’s!

Great spot for utv riding

Great house for an adventure

House was great for our group of 4 for a snowmobile trip. House has a great common area for cooking and relaxing. Groomed trails to within a block of the house. Great host communication. Highly recommend!
