"Everything was awesome however I arrived two hours early and I never got the instructions for self check in. Otherwise it’s a modern, relaxing an upscale hotel well worth every penny. I like how art pieces are in your room as well as in the hallways. If I were a chef I would have taken advantage of the the complete kitchen."

"Maria was exceptionally helpful throughout our 2 week stay at Casa Madreu, and was interested in where we had explored and offerred suggestions which were much appreciated. We went on long walks (6-7 hours) most days, and at the end of the day we always went swimming either at one of the lovely beaches n the coast, or in some beautiful pools in the nearby river. The mountains are spectacular and rugged, and the valley near the house is full of vines and olive trees and figs. The paths are really...

"The 4 of us all loved this place! The location was great, and the apartment itself was perfect. We would stay here again. We enjoyed the town of Oliena. From here, we were able to appreciate the mountains, and the east coast (Gologone) was only 35 minutes away. The host was wonderful and recommended the restaurant, Sa Horte De Su Poeta, and it was one of the best experiences of our month-long visit to Sardinia."

"We had a great stay in Vincenzo’s villa next to Orgosolo. The place is magical and perfect for someone that loves to enjoy beaches in the morning and peace in the evenings cooking all fresco and enjoying the stunning Mountain View’s. Vincenzo’s Dad, Pietro, was tending the gardens every morning and he was a true gentleman. They have given us their own grown tomatoes, and wine. The villa has a stunning character and charm. We stayed there for a week and every evening we cooked outside and dined...

"Great place but wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel. The room was freshly renovated and quite comfortable however there were no blinds or film on the window in the bathroom making it feel very exposed. Lots of mosquitos and no repellents were provided and no window nets so could open the balcony or windows sadly. Breakfast options were very poor in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in Sardinia and mostly included sweets. Didn't get a chance to use the pool as the weather wasn't great but looks nice."

"A modern, thoughtfully designed property on a hilltop overlooking Nuoro. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful with a small problem that I had. The rooms were modern and comfortable. One issue that we found everywhere in Sardinia is that the rooms don't have enough electrical outlets, making it a bit of a hassle to charge personal devices. The breakfast was fine in a room with a great view overlooking the town. One plus, during the off-season, is that there are enough travelers for business, so the property offers the full range of services. At other properties in the off-season, the lack of guests can result in limited services. Also, excellent parking. Definitely recommend for car travelers. Because it is located 2 km from the city center, it may be a hassle for persons who don't have a car, although there is good municipal bus service accessible about a five minute walk distant."
