"The room was very nice and clean, but the hallway had a very low ceiling, and the carpet seemed old. They give you two delicious cookies when you check in. The room also has a microwave and a small refrigerator. Breakfast is the same every day—scrambled eggs, fried potato squares, and sausage—but you can also make your own waffles or choose from a selection of fruit (apple orange or banana). The cleaning crew are not very helpful but the front desk people are. The location is good if you need to be close to the center of town."

"Stay was 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Charging of ev was possible to change with a standard plug. We had 1.5kw/h - better than nothing. Breakfast was simple but i didn’t miss anything. Street and railway was noisy at night. Price was ok. I would stay another night at the location."

"Paul was an incredibly gracious host! Bedrooms are fresh and clean and we loved watching the Roku, netflix and playing Snooker. Was welcoming being greeted by the dogs everytime we came back to the property. Paul even brought us fresh local peaches, brown sugar and cream so we could enjoy our waffles the fremch way.. One morning he cooked us a bacon and eggs breakfast. So nice and a cool guy!"

"Do not expect a luxury or a fancy tv set but in the room and in the kitchen you find everything you need for a one night stop. In our opinion this hot el has perfect location for a stay before /and Manotulin Islands after visiting Manitulin . You will have only double bbed narrow but comfortable."

"The cottage and bunkie are clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. When we arrived the windows were open letting in a fresh breeze, gentle music was playing in the background, the fire pit was set up with fresh logs, and the host was nearby to answer any questions we might have. When I reached out once during our stay, I received an immediate response.We enjoyed going out in the kayaks, fishing off the dock, cooling off in the water, bbq meals on the back deck, and evenings around the campfire. Not to mention the gorgeous views of the lake! We definitely look forward to coming back next summer."
