Welcome to our charming and cozy cottage, only 8 minutes from the CHI Center and 12 minutes from UNMC. Ideal for couples or small groups, this home features two bathrooms and two separate living spaces, providing extra comfort and privacy. Need to work? A dedicated office is available. This inviting retreat is the perfect spot for your getaway!

➝ Family Friendly - Pack'n Play & highchair provided (Pack n' Play only comes with the padding from the box, and no beddings)

➝ 10 Minutes to Zoo and Downtown - 15 min from Omaha Airport

Spring Break Trip to Omaha

My family which included my husband, 3 year old and parents, all stayed here for a short spring break trip to Omaha. The home was nicely set up to accommodate our guests. It was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was nice! Another review mentioned that it smelled musty, but it was very clean and didn't have a small while we were there.

The decor all over the house went really well together and a lot of thought was put into it. The house was extremely clean and everything thats needed was available such as cookware and even toiletries. It was a very comfortable stay and my boyfriend and i really enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend staying here and if we ever come through Omaha again, we'll be back for sure!

A wonderful little spot!

It is obvious that the owners of this property care a great deal about being great hosts. Communication was great, check-in was very easy, and the amenities were fantastic. The little details are excellent. Soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower, coffee available, lovely decorations and the drawers are labeled. The only complaint we had was there was an overpowering musty smell to the place. So much so that upon my return home I had to wash everything I had there whether I had worn it or not. My hair smelled of it and it permeated even my plastic items. I did contact Jireh about it and she was very apologetic and said they would work to fix it. I am hopeful that they will get it taken care of because this property is really nice.

Peeping cottage in Omaha

I placed the VRBO for my wife, myself, and my dogs to come to Omaha for my grandmothers funeral. We arrived and thought, this place is cute! Then we went inside to find the toilet was taped off, maybe because they thought it was clean, it wasn’t. We then went to check out the hot tub, it smelled of mildew, definitely needs to be emptied and re chlorinated. We skipped the hot tub. There was an amazing and complicated looking shower upstairs that I was excited for, but there are no instructions on how to use it. You try to use that thing! It’s confusing. I ended up using the shower downstairs. The second day, I go to let my dogs out to pee and the Doberman next door had gotten loose. I managed to wrangle my tinydogs inside before there was a fight. I then went back outside to see if the dog was nice so I could bring it back to its owner. That was a mistake. I was then chased aggressively and almost bit by a snarling Doberman. Because of all this we left the VRBO a day early. On our spur of the moment early travel back, I received a text from the propertyowner. It said I brought 2 dogs and didn’t state I was bringing 2. I definitely put 2 animals into the VRBO app when I reserved the house. Now the owner is saying he is going to charge me for an extra dog. When we didn’t even stay the 2nd night because of all that happened with the neighbors dog and the amenities that were disappointing. I then realize. Wait, the guy was watching us? I immediately think,where else are the cams?
