The staff was top notch and takes care of you across the board. Everyone treated you better the we were at the Ritz Carlton. The property was clean and had great historical charm. Easy 10 out of 10, nicest hotel experience we ever had in Europe.

From the minute we arrived we were blown away! The hotel is just what we were looking for a beautifully maintained private hotel which is unique and elegant. The rooms are large and tasteful. The service was personal and attentive. The pool area was perfect and Sam looked after us so well, it was like being at a friends home, just a friend who had a castle !! We hope to return

Beautiful castle, unfortunately, not up to its full potential, A bit outdated, but still beautiful. Great value for experiencing something historic. The grounds however, are simply spectacular and the food truly amazing. .

I will start by saying we arrived at night, which may have impacted our opinion of the property. The property is an old castle and it presents as one, specifically at night. Lots of unused space, makes part of the property feel empty. We had some confusion around dining, and the availability of dinner service, making it a bit confusing. We were told yes to dinner service, and no by the staff at the restaurant… and ultimately had to have the front desk call to rectify the situation. In the morning, the light changed the mood. The staff were friendly and kind! Overall, it was my first time staying in an older castle, and now have a better idea of expectations. Neat experience!

Excellent hotel with beautiful nature and service

My second stay at this wonderfull hotel. Very frendly and nice staff. Nature around this hotel is very beautiful. Breakfast is excellent. Specially recommend to visit the Dan Garden Lounge close to the castle.
