They even helped to take our language up in third floor, as the property doesn’t have any lift. A historic city and most of the areas/buildings are not allowed to have such upgrades. We really enjoyed the coziness and great hospitality. Definitely recommended."

"Perfect. Very happy with my single room. Clean room overlooking courtyard. Clear instructions. Careful on the staircase, it can be a bit crooked but apart from that everything very good. "As a full time world traveller staying in many hotels around the world, this has everything! Excellent location, a couple of minutes from harbour and train station in the middle of old town. Stunning rooms with high quality fittings and decor, everything in the right place too, like plug sockets and mirrors. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, it is fabulous. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Possibly our favorite hotel on this trip. Very clean. It’s an older building that hasn’t had a lot of updates, but our room was spacious with lots of character. No AC, but a fan was provided and the windows could be opened all the way. The floor was carpeted, but new semi-disposable slippers were provided. No hygiene concerns. Bathroom was old and small, but everything worked and it was very clean. Staff very friendly, breakfast good."
