Great Little Beach House
I brought my two small kids here for a week. The house was the perfect size for all of us. The public water access is just at the end of the road, and the Cornfield Point beach is less than a 5-minute walk. The kids loved being able to go to the water every day. I appreciated the views of the water from the enclosed patio. The neighborhood is very quiet, and this house sits just behind a 'castle' in the backyard. Phyllis was very easy to communicate with before the stay, as I had questions about the home being appropriate for the kids. The house is well stocked with dishes, towels, and coffee. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus. The air conditioners in each room kept the house very pleasant in the summer afternoons and evenings. I would definitely book this home again on my next visit to Saybrook.
