Trailhead, and a short drive to Downtown Ojai where you can enjoy art galleries, wine tasting, and farmer's markets. This cozy space features 1 full bed, a living room with 1 bunk bed, and essential amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine/dryer on the property. Great location with plenty to do nearby. Papa Lennon’s is within walking distance and opens at 11:00 AM. Downtown Ojai is only about a 6-minute drive away. The crystal bowl Lion’s Gate event at MOVE Sanctuary was wonderful. Home Kitchen is just 5 minutes away by car and is a great breakfast spot, while Mountain Meditation is about 19 minutes away. The RV also offers plenty of privacy and enough space to relax—or even dance! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Just the essentials!

This little camper was all I needed for my trip. I was solo, but it sleeps up to 4 and is actually a bit roomy! Parking was easy, reserved spots for guests staying. There’s a fence in between the trailer and the house so you get privacy. Water is hot, heater is warm, bed is cozy. I brought my own comforter just in case but I didn’t need it-plenty of blankets! Overall, good accommodations for a fair price

Quick trip to Ojai

This was a quick, last minute hiking trip to Ojai during New Years. I wanted something affordable and availability wasn’t easy. So I booked the Happy Camper. It’s located next to great hiking trails, market is close, 10 minutes from downtown. The trailer is clean and new. The blankets and towels smelled amazing. It was cozy, water was hot, neighborhood was cute. The camper is parked in a driveway of another house. I wasn’t anticipating that. They did put a fence around it to create some privacy. However it really wasn’t and some people that stayed in the main house walked through our area and I didn’t like that. They could hear us, we could hear them. The mattresses are extremely flat as well. It served for what I wanted and was affordable. Check in and check out was easy.

The camper was clean and conveniently located. It had decent amenities. However, it does NOT have a mattress but more like camping pads on all beds. The WiFi is also not accessible. The listing also indicates that there’s a washer and dryer, but it is shared with the main house somewhere and no instructions on where. There is a family living on-site so were asked to be quiet at the baby’s bed time - 8pm when I was trying to get into the camper for the first time. I also messaged the host almost two months prior to travel and received no response. Followed up a couple of weeks out and still received no response. So overall, it was ok but the lack of an actual mattress and no WiFi were my main issues. The water in the shower was hot, so that was a def bonus.
