We booked a 5 night stay here in a 2 bedroom apartment. We were given apartment #2, ground floor. Our first impression was that it looked run down and in need of some updating. It was also incredibly hot and there are only AC units in the bedrooms. The owner, Alwen came by so we could pay for our stay. He kindly offered to drive us to the grocery store which was very helpful. Location of the place is good: 10-15 min walk to Miami Beach and Oisitins Fish Market. When we returned in the evening, it was still so hot in the common area so we didn't want to spend any time in there. We also noticed some cleanliness concerns- shower didn't drain, back of the bathroom door was dirty with brown stains, musty cupboards. One of the bedroom doors didn't open fully, finicky toilet flusher, several missing drawer handles. No hot water to shower as there is a separate switch that needs to be turned on first. It would have gone a long way for the place to have been properly prepared for guests- like airing out/cooling, replacing multiple burnt out bulbs, plugging in bedside lamps. Also, since cooking facilities are provided, it would be good to provide basics like oven mitts. Some of the dishes were not clean which intensified the "ick" factor. We were surprised by the state of our suite, considering the numerous great reviews. My parents stayed in suite 6 and their place was definitely nicer, updated, albeit w/ some of the same inconveniences. We checked out 2 nights early.

I Have stayed at Clearwater apts a couple of times and it never disappoints. Anne and Alwin are so accommodating. It’s so near the beach but also set back a little so it’s quiet! Highly recommend

Lovely stay at Clearwater

We had a nice stay at Clearwater. The owners were fantastic, really helpful and jolly. Personally showed us where everything was. We thought the apartment was right on the beach but it was very close. will definitely come back. Beds were super comfortable.

The best accommodation that you can ever hope for.

There is nothing about which to complain. Everything was well ordered and in place. Alwin saw to it that we lacked nothing. On the 21st our flight arrived at 9.00pm but Alwin was there to greet us and at my request offered us enough tea supplies to last over the 4 days. Although a relatively small place I can boast that Alwin has a big heart ang a most humble disposition. I will certainly return and also recommend with a clear conscience... Good value for money

Nice, basic but comfortable apartments. A stone's throw from the surfing beach and 10 minutes walk from one of the nicest beaches in Barbados (Miami/Enterprise beach). Alwin, the owner, showed me the town and brought me to the supermarket for the first groceries. Great service.

Great value

This apartment complex is a real gem. It is clean, spacious affordable and great value for the money. Sandra, the housekeeper, is very professional and helpful. there are laundry facilities, washer and dryer; I used the washer but dried my clothes the old-fashioned way- hung them out on the clothes line. I rented a one-bedroom, and it is huge, with separate living and dining rooms, and a large kitchen and a quiet, scenic, balcony. I highly recommend this complex.

I neded a place for 2 nights, after searching and trying to decide i chose this one. The place is very clean and the propery managers are lovely people. The location was petfect for walking to Enterprisec Beach (10 mins) as well as Oistins (a bit further away) It is also close to the airport and just off the Main road to go anyway you desire by car.

This is a very nice property in a quiet and save area. It's only a few minutes walk from the famous Miami Beach and Oistins. Alwin and his wife were great. We checked out after six days to go to another apartment up in St. Lucy. We ended up not being able to stay there because the owner was in New York and the property seemed abandoned. We return to Clearwater and Alwin allowed us to stay a night free in order to help us with the wasted expense. We ended up staying for more than two weeks and the place is very homey. I would recommend Clearwater, and I would stay there again.
