"Overall it was a nice hotel for 2 stars, with perfectly clean rooms and friendly staff.
The room was a little cramped, not much maneuvering room around the twin beds or in the ensuite, but it was quite cheap and served our purposes nicely. Possibly worth knowing is that the wifi si free but only allows the connection of one device at a time.
Breakfast was continental-style, quite varied and 6 euros per person."

"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room.
Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine.

"When we arrived we asked where we should park. We were told park along the street and at the pay and display, to get a three hour free ticket. I specifically asked if that three hour ticket would be enough to get us till the free parking at night and was told yes. She was wrong."
Le Charmant: Elegance and History at the foot of the Cathedral
8/10 Good
"Super clean. No check-in instructions or any communications before arrival - not ideal when you’re traveling and unusual protocol. Good communications once established (took over 12 hrs by email & VRBO messaging & a phone call - told to msg w/ What’sApp). All comms are there, but too little too late. Very accommodating for an early check-in - thank you! Easy self-check in process. A bit weird to self-remove garbage 60m away on the street (& pay the municipality for it) upon departure.Great area of the city to stay in, close to museums, markets, etc. VERY old building so mind that neighbours above are loud walking around, talking, etc. A bit musty after days of rain - to be expected .Place as described/pictured."
"A lovely welcome to the hotel with full information about security, car park and features on the comfortable room.
An excellent restaurant was recommended - Chez Fred. "
