"The concierge, Roxie McCovins is top shelf, very helpful and attentive to all our questions. She really does go above and beyond! Be ready for parking if you drive in, it is an extra $50+ a day to park in the hotel parking structure which to me seemed like they are milking the guests. No help from hotel just park and pay. Ok first to park in the hotel parking structure should be part of the hotel stay cost and not extra and second the parking payment should be included in the bill and not make you stand out in the parking lot downloading a QR code and paying the fee every day of the stay. No option we could find to pay all days at once just day by day so you have to remember to do that every day or they will boot your vehicle. A place as nice as the Westin should have a system that is better than this! The staff and rooms were all very good and what you would expect from them. The location is excellent and the shopping and view are great. Expedia might mention the parking thing above as when you are booking whatever you’re thinking is the cost if driving in it is $50+ more than the booking fee says. They also charge a post tax fee of $30 a day. So the final hotel bill is going to be around $100 a day more than the Expedia booking daily cost is. So overall very good place to stay but the management does nickel-and-dime you and seems like the exception is most will fly in so the drive in people are not enough to bother with. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel location is perfect so close to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Our room was spotless, and Eddie at the front office was absolutely delightful and so helpful with our tickets. Highly recommend!"

"The staff treated us like second rate because we booked through Expedia. The sheets had a blood stain, the shower pressure was horrible and the shower looked dirty."

"We walked into the lobby and looked for the bell hop. There was no bellhop, so we looked for the cart to move our luggage from our van to our rooms. The cart had flat tires. No one seemed to be happy to receive us or eager to help us in anyway, shape or form. Finally, we catch the elevator, which is so glitchy the buttons don’t work and it jumps really bad whenever it gets to your floor or the lobby - we get our rooms and the smell when you get to the third floor was so disgusting like a bad stench of smoke and dirty feet. We walk into our room and the carpet which looks like it’s been recently replaced still smelled like urine. I walked into the bathroom and was completely disgusted to see dirty, shower curtains, doors with dirty handprints, everywhere soap, scum, and grime all over the bar soap holder, and our bathtub felt like a water bed. It was completely filled with water, making me so dizzy. Every time I needed to use the shower. They also are so stingy with the towels, I put down that I was staying with my family of four and they only left two towels in the room when I called to try to get more towels. They kept telling me that they didn’t have any that’s ridiculous. Why do you even ask how many people are going to stay in the room if it doesn’t matter how many towels you will leave. This should be a less resort stay. I honestly would never stay here again."

"We had an interior room and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet after being out in the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. We were close enough to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go and enjoyed all the dining options around the hotel. "

"Place was great for what we needed since we got in late and left early. I would definitely stay again once they are done with renovations. I basically picked it because it was cheap and had free parking. The one member of staff I interacted with was great. I booked the rooms under my name but I had left my ID at home 5hours away. She helped me to get the room name changed to my husband’s since we had booked through a 3rd party site. "
