"Food was great and views were amazing. But we encountered issues with the beds during our initial check-in. The beds were very old, lacked support, and had a musky smell - resulting in poor sleep. We were told that Hoshino Resorts had only recently taken over the property and that it is due for an overhaul and refurbishment soon. We hope the resort replaces the beds eventually. Notably, a hotel manager by the name of Mei went the extra mile to ensure that we were made comfortable and to address...

"Somewhat reminiscent of the The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, owner of this hotel, Takashi made every effort to make our stay an good one. While a little spartan, the hotel was clean and warm, and the futon beds were soft and comfortable. The hotel is well situated about 7 minutes drive from the Tomamu resort. There are excellent restaurant options within 5 minutes walking distance. Takashi was very happy to drive us to the resort in the mornings. Thanks again for a great stay, Takashi! "
