The location of the property is within walking distance to many of Munich's cultural attractions which was a plus. However, the property is quite dated and the room I was assigned had shag carpeting. The shower was also quite small and not sure how a large person would be able to access it in such a small space.

Platzl Hotel was a good choice for our party of four on holiday. One of its greatest assets is its location. The property needs a refresh, and amenities like electrical outlets at bedside need to be installed. The multi-lingual staff were friendly without fawning. The little bar and cafe at the front of the building has a very limited menu. The associated high-end restaurant was excellent.

Brilliant hotel and staffs. The room has small kitchen with equipments to cook and utensils. Lovely touch on welcoming card. Even has a small dishwasher. Hotel is close to public transport. Easy access to Munich. Got outside swimming pool and water is warm. Will definitely stay again
