「Beautiful apartment. Well appointed. Clean. Very comfortable. Excellent bed. Great location. Only problem was a major storm rolled in while we were there. All activities were closed. You couldn’t get in or out of Kaikoura. So keep an eye on the weather if you go in winter.」

「We had a delightful stay at the Country Cottage in Spotswood over Easter weekend. The cottage was charming and thoughtfully decorated, with lots of little touches that made us feel welcome—like a lovely jar of preserves and fresh fruit and even Easter Eggs waiting for us. 「Lovely place with easy access to the beach. Extremely quiet and dark, allowing for great stargazing. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Friendly host who quickly explained everything and was available for questions via text. Would definitely return the next time we’re near Kaikoura. 」
