「Rain and cold weather altered our plans, so we spent the majority of time at the lake house. However, it was now disappointment! The house is clean and cozy with all of the amenities of home. We had game night, sat around the fire circle and loved the view. My son brought his dog and this place is wonderful for pets!We could not have been happier. Will definitely be back! 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. If you plan to cook, bring a few things (hot mitts, aluminum foil, etc). Other reviews are right about the extremely low water pressure. That...

「We went to this cabin/house as a retreat just to relax and read. We got to do that! The house is as pictured but with a few cobwebs around and the windows are in desperate need of washing (so as not to obstruct the view). The big bedroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the house. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus as we like a "live" fire. Firewood was easy to obtain in the area. Overall, we my wife and I had a good, relaxing time. Would go back to this place again.」

「The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.」
