Nice hotel that seems pretty new. Good bedding and was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included in my booking. Very clean. Staff were very helpful. I can’t say much for the immediate area around the hotel since I arrived by car at night and left by car early the next morning but it was fine for my purposes

No valet parking available on 2 consecutive days. Had to find own parking several blocks away. Check in was a mess. Rooms were not clean. Several people were waiting in lobby at 1 am to get into rooms.

It was clean and chick in all aspects from entrance to hallways and rooms' furniture, like a brand new property. Also the valet parking is excellent, however the $60/night parking is high.

Great hotel in the downtown area
This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. It’s a lively small hotel. My only issue is the valet fees. If you don’t valet your car it is guaranteed to get broken into. I think the fees were about $80 day (with in and out privileges). That’s a lot to add on everyday. Other than that, it’s a great hotel

Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice experience. We would stay here again when visiting Oakland. Every member of staff went above and beyond. Room was modern, clean. Great shower. Bed was OK. The staff went to pains to tell us about the $50+tax valet fee and the $20 breakfast so there were no surprises. Breakfast offered 4 full set meals or the buffet. Liked the location - only 2 blocks from Broadway.

Great
Had a great time , came for a concert . Only had trouble with valet. Left the car on overnight causing our battery to die , but the manager was nice enough not to charge us for valet parking for our trip.
