Best hotel I have stayed in in a long time

We were put in a wing of the hotel under active renovation and seemingly the only “guests”-construction workers don’t count. The elevator did not work on check-in so we had to carry our bags up several staircases and when elevator did work later it was pitch black inside. Room was clean and spacious, front desk staff was helpful, breakfast buffet was great with many selections. Be sure to take the S22 hotel shuttle bus from the airport on platform 41 which costs about $8USD each way(you can pay the driver with credit card) and makes a few other hotel stops on the way before stopping right out front of the hotel. BE SURE TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THON HOTEL GARDERMOEN AND Thon hotel Oslo AIRPORT. They are 2 different hotels with different bus stops.

The room was large and comfortable. The room does not have any air conditioning. The shower does spill water quite a lot into the rest of the room but the towels were absorbent enough to help with cleanup afterwards. Overall the stay is comfortable and convenient for flights in or out. I'd stay again.
