「The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!」

「An incredible location but you definitely need a car to get there. It’s high up in the hills. Narrow roads but easy to find with Google maps. Host does not speak English but daughters do. Beautiful continental breakfast with sliced meats & cheese, yogurt, cereals and muesli, coffee, tea, jams & cake. 」

「恐ろしく高評価で高価格の２つ星個人経営ホテルはリスキーだ。わざと２人で予約したのに、あてがわれたのはスーツケースを広げられないほど狭いダブルの部屋。16㎡との表示だったが、どうみても10㎡しかない。日本の東横インみたいだ。（東横インの５割増し価格だけど）翌日泊ったPousada de Viseuは、ここよりも安いのに部屋は倍の広さだったので、割高なんていうものではない。ぼったくりだ！タンスやクローゼットも無く、ゴミ箱も無い。バスルームのアメニティはシャワーキャップ１つだけ、シャワールームはシャンプー兼用のポンプ式ソープ１つだけと２つ星らしい設備の貧弱さだ。朝食は２つ星にしてはまずまずだが、フレッシュオレンジジュースを水で薄めてあったのに加えて、一般的に高価な食材が無い。宿代は近くの４つ星ホテルと同じなのに、質を落として誤魔化しているわけだ。この姿勢が、このホテルの運営姿勢をよく表している。ひとつ重要な情報だが、部屋に蟻除けの薬が置いてあった。それでも、ベッドの上に蟻が徘徊していたので、虫がダメな人は絶対に避けた方が良いだろう。」

「This is a gorgeous Quinta with exceptional accomodation and staff. The pool was fantastic on a very hot afternoon and evening. The small food menu was perfect to pair with the wine and port produced at Dona Matilde made more special served outside the rooms on tables over looking the Douro river as the sun set. 」
