"While we received multiple confirmations of our reservation, including the morning we were to check in, the property manager never sent us check in instructions, even after we emailed asking for them. Then, after spending over an hour with multiple calls to VRBO customer service, who also couldn’t get ahold of the property manager, we arrived at the location. "This was my 3rd stay at the Stamford Hiotel and each time has been functional and satisfying. it is walking distance to a myriad of restaurants, the rooms and my suite was large and clean, and the staff goes out of their way to eensure you have everything you need for a great stay. Having a reasonable parking garage attached to the hotel is a huge plus. I'll be back!"

"We arrived on Long Island very late on the 10th. We were at a hotel that was completely horrid and we had to get out of there. We left there the morning of the 12th and booked the Marriott. We left without showering and needed to get ourselves together for the day. The staff at the Marriott allowed us to get into a room around 11 and helped us tremendously. We really couldn't wait until 3pm check in. We were given waters and greeted with smiles. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of towels and everything we needed. Bed comfortable. Only request I would make is to make the quiet hours sign more visible. No one sees that on the door outside the elevator. We had lots of noise after midnight with very loud talking and kids running in the halls. "
