4/10 Poor

"I was surprised how outdated the room was. It smelled musty. Although I appreciated the toilet plunger in the bathroom for emergencies, it was quite unsightly. You could hear movement from the room above amplified like furniture was being moved & the breakfast was not impressive. Maybe the other rooms are nicer. I would not recommend the one I was in."

"Hotel roof currently under construction. In fact, the crane, dumpsters and construction crew were directly outside our window. YES, they worked over the weekend we stayed!!! Very noisy and disruptive!! I worked the overnight of our trip, so I had planned to sleep once arrived to hotel. Unfortunately, this was NOT possible! Not to mention, Bed mattress was literally like sleeping on concrete, way too FIRM!!!! Hips and back killing me to the point of making me physically ill morning after. Handicapped space limited due to construction equipment. Second night requested extra pillows, comforter for comfort to get through the second night’s booking. NEVER AGAIN!! I should have requested another room due to noise issues from construction. Curtains closed. Kept the A/C on to cover noise, but made room extremely cold to suffice through the stay. Private beach was nice, but seating was NOT possible with the guest capacity of baseball teams and families visiting the area for tournaments. Elevator was malfunctioning and was stuck closed with occupants for 50+ minutes. Fire department had to assist in rescue efforts on Saturday 6/6/26. Hotel does not have ice/water on every floor like other hotel chains do. Pool, hot tubs, sauna, fitness very nice and clean! There is also a kiddie pool which is a nice feature for guests visiting without children. After hours for adults is a nice option, but 9 p.m. would be more accommodating for older adults who retire earlier to their rooms. "

"Filthy room. No remote control, however they quickly brought one. Under the beds was full of filth. Counters had crumbs. Sink was dirty and would not drain. Wall in the bathroom had stains. I needed a place to lay flat with my dog while traveling. Did I alert the front desk? No. Front desk lady was so nice upon check in."

"Lovely remote, private location. Issue was bathroom situation. Cabin served as home base for 7 adults and two children. Thought it was a two bathroom home, found out the day before that one shower was broken. In reality the shower and tub were both unusable, and it really should have been listed as 1 three-quarter bath and one 1/2 bath. Trying to get ready for a wedding was next to impossible. Had I known further ahead, would have had at least 1 family get a hotel room instead."
