"This is a beautiful house with awesome views of the ocean and beach. Very disappointed with how it was not very clean. Also, small ants in windows in dining room and in master bathroom. Would love to stay here again only if it’s cleaner. For the amount of money you pay to stay here it should very clean. "

"Breakfast was very good. Front office staff was very nice!! The room however was terrible. The floors were dirty and slippery. There was dirt and dead bugs all over!! There were not enough towels to accommodate us in the bath and the microwave area. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights and had to leave after 2 nights. They stated we were get a refund of the 3rd night. I asked if we would be compensated for all the issues we dealt with in the room. She was going to see what she could do. We have stayed there many times before and will again. We never expected how things were. "

"Great stay for the price! Old beach smell, but property has been updated with newer flooring, paint, furniture and bathroom is nice. We rented cabin 12, it is the last on one in the row. The cabins are out by the road and then a nice paved road (pretty short walk) and the main hotel is a short walk to the beach. The pillows weren’t bad and the bed was very comfortable. The windows were very old with a piece missing from the double pane that didn’t affect keeping the room warm. You get the feeling they are steadily working at improving the property. Larger size of the dorm size fridge and a microwave in the room. Pet friendly options. We went to the mermaid museum and this is an easy place to stay close by. "
