「Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular. Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views....

「Beautiful property and surrounding scenery. Attentive friendly hosts. Well kept and clean. Bedrooms are on 2nd floor no elevator. Spacious bathrooms. Cabin type feel a bit chilly even w heaters in Dec. Streets leading to property are very narrow so having a smaller car is better and follow signage for easiest route . Overall beautiful rental beautiful views and amazing stay.」

「Unfortunately no supper served the night I was there & my flight was too early to have the breakfast. Fortunately hotel is very close to airport, about 1/2 mile, which turned out to be important as my taxi did not show & I had to walk dragging my suitcase & carryon. Staff very helpful when I arrived.」
