I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is delicious. If I find that my travels take be back to the Schwarzwald, I will be staying at Sombea again.

The breakfast was the best we had, but we did pay extra for it. It's a very nice place. I wasn't a fan of the elevator needing a key. That was a pain, but besides that, it was a great place to stay!

We stopped for a night on the way to Zurich. The room was clean, the environment relaxing and very quiet. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, very relaxing experience

This was a nice hotel with friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, and a good restaurant. I would stay here again.

Modern, well renovated. Area was okay. Close to a good Irish pub with good food and drinks. The parking was pretty tight for our van and it was difficult to park. However there was no outside parking an available so we had to pay to park.

Beautiful property, the restaurant is excellent as is the complimentary breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly Lars and Lou.

Probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The building is only a few years old. The suite was clean, quiet, comfortable, and huge. Ample room for a family of 4 with luggage. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff was very polite, professiinal, and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. Clean room and friendly staff

This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
