Dear Guests,<br>Apartment 7 (of 7 total) features 2 bathrooms: one with a toilet and shower, and the second with a bathtub, toilet, washing machine, and dryer—towels included. <br><br>Underfloor heating, powered by eco-friendly geothermal energy combined with solar power, is available throughout the entire apartment.<br><br>Sleeping accommodations consist of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. All bed frames are adjustable at the head and foot ends. Bed linens are, of course, included in the price. <br><br>From the living/dining/kitchen area, you can access the 12-square-meter south/west-facing balcony. <br><br>You also have access to a storage room where you’ll find additional household appliances. These include a vacuum cleaner, an ironing board, an iron, and standard household cleaning supplies. <br><br>Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking. You’ll find a stove with a ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker, a blender, a toaster, and a kettle.<br>Free Wi-Fi is, of course, also available, as well as satellite TV and a hi-fi stereo system.<br><br>Our property features 3 electric vehicle charging stations, which are available for a fee.<br><br>If you’re arriving by motorcycle, we’d be happy to make our garage available to you. The same applies to your e-bikes.<br><br>Our property, which spans over 4,000 square meters, offers plenty of space for playing and running around—for example, on the playground, which your children are welcome to use. The apartments are located at 430 meters above sea level in the Kommerscheidt district, which is part of Nideggen-Schmidt.<br><br><br>In case of bad weather, we have a common room where you can borrow plenty of books or games. <br>You can also help yourself to various hygiene items there if you’ve forgotten to bring your own.<br><br>For our youngest guests, we also offer a travel crib and a high chair upon request. Please feel free to ask us about these.<br><br>Upon request, we also offer a shuttle service to the Nideggen-Brück train station if you’d like to arrive or depart via the Rurtalbahn. <br><br>If this apartment is already fully booked, we have three additional apartments, each accommodating 4 people, and three more apartments, each accommodating 2 people.<br><br>The Eifel National Park and Lake Rur are nearby destinations for day trips. There are also countless recreational activities in the region, such as hiking, biking, boat trips on Lake Rur, kayaking, ATV tours, e-bike rentals, a high ropes course, a playground for children, guided tours of the Eifel National Park, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and much more.<br><br>Within the town of Schmidt, there are shops for daily necessities, including two bakeries, a supermarket, a post office, a gas station, and a pharmacy, as well as a doctor (general practitioner) and a dentist. You can do your larger shopping in Heimbach or Nideggen, which are about a 10-minute drive away.<br><br>Three restaurants offer the opportunity to enjoy a good dinner nearby after an exciting day of hiking or sightseeing, should you decide to skip cooking for a change.
