「It was a nice looking property- food was delicious. The room, even though I got ocean view, was very small. No microwave. There was black mold around the toilet wall because of how humid it is. The location was good- walking distance of a lot of restaurants. Wasn’t much night life though- so if you are looking to party don’t come here. Pools close at 9 pm and they didn’t allow my kids to play with the ball.」

「That view is unmatched! Absolutely stunning. The room could have been cleaned better and the breakfast was lacking. Stayed in 4 hotels during my trip and this breakfast was the least favoured. The shuttle was great to take us into town and to the Lagosta Beach club. Overall, it was still a good stay. 」

「This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! The pool overlooking the sea was awesome! Samara is a short drive away and the beach is within walking distance from the property! We highly recommend this place! 」

「What a beautiful and relaxing space. The owners Jaime and Miri were wonderful, so sweet and friendly. Design is impeccable. Rooms thoughtfully laid out and stunning. The bed was so comfy. Had the best massage at the spa. Also loved the restaurant/bar near the pool. Great food and drinks. I ate every taco they have and they were all genuinely delicious. Can't say enough good things. Really enjoyed my stay, just an excellent place to rest and enjoy. 」

「The property is kids friendly. I think they could of had better choices for breakfast. We order off the menu and there were 6 items in it to choose from. The hotel has shuttle to the beach which is very convenient. We also used the complementary beach chairs and the bathroom at the beach. 」

「I had the perfect stay at Surfo house in tamarindo! I was very comfortable I even extended my stay. The areas are clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the store is conveniently located just downstairs, the beach is just 3 minutes walking distance, close to all restaurants, shops, even the bus station is right there. The staff were excellent! So friendly and welcoming. The cleaners were always keeping everything tidy. The lounging areas in the balcony were comfortable. Anything I needed,...

「We stayed 11 days and have nothing but rave reviews .. the staff.. Randall, Jorge, Gerald, Jose..amazing people.. they greated us every day by name, they gave us excellent service, lots of laughs and smiles. Front desk and house keeping very nice and quick. The pool was always nice and clean, lots of beds to lay out on, lots of parking and a quick walk to Playa Hermosa. We enjoyed our stay very much and the amazing bloody ceasar made by Randall 😉」
