"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotels beach was not really kid friendly, or even adult friendly. (at least not for me) There was no space to put our towels and beach accessories. We walked about 5 extra minutes to get to the other side of the beach, which was in front of another hotel and it was a little nicer there. There was a beach about 5 min away (by car), from the hotel (Playa Carillo), and it was BEAUTIFUL! Brian, the manager was so kind to give us a ride in his personal car because my daughters foot was injured and we couldn't walk there. There were some foods that we ordered that were subpar, but there were some foods that were absolutely delicious (the fish, burger, ceviche). I really enjoyed the fish !! The drinks (virgin, and alcoholic) were so refreshing and yummy. I loved every single one that they would make for me. The breakfast was okay. The French toast was yummy and the fruits were fresh and juicy. The staff was super accommodating and everything was pretty clean. If you ask me, id recommend that they get a gold cart or similar, to get to a from the beach on site. (but maybe I'm just lazy). Their shuttle service was punctual, and clean. The excursions are pretty close (about 5 to 10 min away), and they were amazing ! All in all , it was an awesome trip/stay. I would definitely go back."

"This property is world class. The guest relations team is so friendly and helpful, the rooms are absolutely stunning and huge! The pools are gorgeous, poolside service and restaurants offer healthy and delicious options. Breakfast is included- panoramic views of ocean, river and mountains, the property is well maintained and in a super safe neighbourhood. Offers yoga classes and a variety of activities. Well worth the 10 min drive from Playa Guiones for some quiet serenity. Can’t wait to stay here again next time I return to Nosara! "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at SoulShine. Our highlights were walking around the grounds to find the howler monkeys up in the trees - this was so cool! The breakfast menu was delightful. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time lounging by the pool. We liked that there were amenities walking distance: beach, amazing restaurants, gelato, and a market. The staff were so lovely! We want to highlight our taxi driver, Dennis. He went above and beyond for us: making himself available to drive us where we needed to go, getting our daughter a booster seat, stopping along the way when howlers were spotted, having snacks and cold drinks for us. We’re so grateful for his generosity! We can’t wait to visit again :) "

"Very expensive... 35$ usd lunch buffet and 9$ waters. Pay for the sauna and for 450$ a night you get 1 free yoga class. Pilates is separate. Would stay close to beach for half the price and walk to yoga is a better play "

"Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything."
