The Windsor is a slightly old fashioned hotel with a quirky interior and rooms. I've stayed there on several locations and love going back. The location is great being almost equidistant from the train station and the seafront. There are many excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel has smartened up its garden space with an improved food and drinks offering. I had a beautiful room overlooking the garden which is a rarity in Nice.

Fabulous hotel in every respect! We loved having breakfast in the jungle garden and taking advantage of the swimming pool. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the food is excellent. The hotel has an elevator, which is essential for me. The staff are lovely. The hotel is located on a quiet street close to restaurants, the beach, and a bike path along the water. The artwork makes the property very special. We want to return here next year!

Lovely decorated room.Recently refurbished room. Ģoodquality linen. Clean. Goid wifi.Nice garden with bamboo and pool area. Perfect on a hot day. Entrance stairs and main entry needs facelift.The only.minus side (room 51)close to elevator and noise from other guests. At night street below is very noisy, car music , motosyclists, loudly promenading party goers all night long That does not give much of good sleep. Staff was friendly.

Excellent hotel experience.

The staff was absolutely terrific. Everyone was friendly as well as helpful. The room that was originally booked was a bit small for our needs so as soon as there was a larger room available, we were moved with a very minimal charge for the upgrade. The location could not have been better. The outdoor space is absolutely charming. I look forward to staying there on my next trip to Nice.

Only the price has four stars

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was arrogant and not particularly helpful – it felt like we were a nuisance just for checking in. The hotel itself is, at best, worn and dated. The rooms are poorly maintained, the pool was not clean, and the sun loungers clearly showed signs of bird droppings. Old towels and leftover food on the tables by the pool were not cleared away. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertised a gym. The “gym” turned out to be a small attic room with wall-to-wall carpeting and a strong smell of mold. The equipment consisted of six pairs of dumbbells, a barbell with weights, a broken cable crossover machine (which remained unfixed despite several complaints), and a rowing machine with a single handle. Windsor claims to be a four-star hotel – we strongly disagree, unless you’re only judging by the price.

Lovely hotel. Quirky and colourful interior design. Convenient for the centre (walkable). Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Good garden area, didn't like the caged birds,though. Air conditioning not available in April and room hot at night. Would definitely stay here again, and shall recommend it to family. ☺

This property is cute and quaint but has some issues. The staff were lovely and AC is good but overall the place is a bit shabby. The pool which was the reason I booked it is not sunny often also the loungers are in a sad gated off area and so if you thought about sunbathing by the pool it’s not really the experience you might want. In my room it smelled faintly of sewage at times. It was also noisy and I could hear other guests. Also for a four star hotel I expect basic toiletries not an all in one shampoo/ body wash. Overall this was not a 4 star experience
