Don't judge the book by it's cover. Looks rundown on the outside but the room and everything else is clean.
The balcony is a plus with the view of the Harbour. Free parking at the back of the building.
We were delighted with our stay and hope to return next year for a longer period. The balcony provided a lovely stop to recover from a day of theatre and exploring the area. Suggestion is to replace the door locks (outdoor and room) due to difficulty in opening.

Great location, convenient to the downtown and the theatre. Quiet and clean. Property needs renovation but apparently a new building is planned. Amenities in the room were fine and comfortable. Good bathroom and good bed. Large TV screen. Nice balcony with river view.
We stayed at the king George inn two weeks ago and suggested a grab bar be installed in the bathtub. When we returned on our way home we elected to stay once more In the king George and found that a grab bar had been installed. We really appreciated the manager wanting to accommodate the guests and their needs. We will return next spring if all goes well.
Other than trying to get the TV to work, which was difficult all in all this place is fabulous. I love the location off the main street, which is quaint and quiet easy access easy check-in. All your amenities are met for a great value. This hotel has such character..
Great affordable spot, perfect if you needed a sleeping spot for a wedding weekend.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
Could use a coat of paint all around but the location is fantastic and our room had an amazing view of the river and Marina
I would definitely stay here again.
As on previous stays - it was exactly what we needed. Great location, clean room & great communication with the host. For whatever reason the access details weren't showing up in VRBO, but Been responded quickly when we messaged him. Always the first place I'll look to stay in NOTL.
Good value for the . Quiet location. Very comfortable. It took a long time to get hot water, but then it was plentiful. Couldn't get the television to work. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Very comfortable room with all necessary amenities. Could use a small microwave, but overall, no complaints. Loved sitting out on the balcony to watch the boats in the marina. Very close walking distance to the main business area with restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Shaw Festival Theatre, which was our reason for being there.
I had an emergency and could not get there sent a friend and they spoke to a couple who stayed there who were very disappointed in their stay. They mentioned many problems here. Building needs repairs and is very outdated. Bed was terrible. Shower heads need cleaning. Balcony not safe. I asked for a refund as a goodwill gesture and owner would not consider. I would never recommend this property and surprised you have it on VRBO. Big disappointment and waste of money.
The property was in a great location and the bed was very comfortable. The host provided coffee pods for each morning which was nice and there was a small fridge available.
My only comments other than that are that the phone reception was poor and it was a bit unclear how to work the T.V.as well as the password for the internet. I did communicate with the host via email, but would have enjoyed meeting this person at least once during my stay.
The accommodations are the bare necessities. One step above sleeping in the back seat of your car. The place looks abandoned. Never saw anyone in charge of the place. zero security , zero privacy and zero amenities. You get what you pay for is absolutely true. For an extra 200 to 300 dollars pick any other place and be happy.
Upon arrival this building looked vacant and in very run down condition. No sign to let us know if it was our hotel. Very sketchy. Once in our room, which had a poor lock, it was actually clean and freshly painted, although the furniture was terribly outdated. However, bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. Would not recommend.

You get what you pay for.
Originally reserved room for four nights, but stayed only one. Couldn’t get a refund so hard lesson learned. The building and room were old but clean enough. No staff available. It felt like an abandoned building. The AC was old and ran noisily at night so we decided to turn it off and just keep the balcony door open for some fresh air, but noisy people outside disturbed our peace into the late night hours.

A Misrepresentation of what was offered
When we saw the property, the first thing we saw was the sign that it was slated for demolition. A mouse ran down the corridor. The room was dark and VERY MUSTY.
It was a repulsive place. We left it immediately.
We have a lot of photos to document the unacceptable state of the so-called hotel!!
As a journalist, I am planning to write up this disaster.
