A Great Ski Getaway!

This was a perfect house to share time away with family or friends. It is very comfortable and spacious giving all guests their own space. At the same time the house is cozy and has room for everyone to be together for meals and relaxing! It's very close to the mountain and convenient for skiing. We will definitely come back!

Perfect home close to Sunday River

We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The proximity of the house to the mountain was perfect.

Solid stay for a Ski Weekend

The property has a lots of useful amenities, plenty of space, and great location. Hot tub is always a llus after a day on the slopes.

Perfect ski trip stop

The property is an amazing place for any skier advocate. Location to Sunday River cannot be beat with the house having everything one would need to have a great weekend. Plenty of space to lounge out after a long day and have dinner together. Would stay again no doubt

Girls Trip Fun

Plenty of room for our party of 11 to spread out! Kitchen area. Fire pit, back patio, and hot tub were perfect for our weekend get away!

Nice Stay at Sunday River

Two families shared one December weekend. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Beds and furniture were comfortable. All in all a good stay. Only thing that could have been better is if we had received the check in instructions a little further in advance.

Ski-tastic!

We were a group of 7 and had more than enough space. Very close to Sunday River and local restaurants. Comfy rooms, plenty of parking space, nice hot tub, and fire pit. Hosts were easy to communicate with, arrival and departure were simple. Be advised there is an attached dwelling where people were staying, but we only saw their golden retriever in the window so it was fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for groups!

We loved our stay at Sunday River at George and Kim’s home. We had 8 adults and had more than enough room but the place still felt cozy and homey. There is plenty to do around the home with the mountains so close - but for the non-skiers, we didn’t feel we had to leave. With the hot tub, walking trails out back, and the large table perfect for big family dinners and games, there is plenty to do on the property. The owners were very responsive when we had a couple questions pop up. Would definitely recommend!

Space for everyone, lots of extras, and very clean!

The home was very clean everywhere we looked. Cozy kitchen, dining and family areas, and the bedrooms were tucked away so the younger ones could sleep while others laughed and played games at the big dining room table. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect (also very clean!) and we enjoyed our time there. Lots of extra towels for hot tub use. It was also nice that they had two washers and dryers in the basement so we came home from vacation without a mountain of laundry to do.

Great home very clean and plenty of supplies!

The only thing I would say negative is we never found the trail that went to the Sunday river from the property. We were attracted to the property because of that fun fact I’m guessing it was so over grown we couldn’t see a trail. But honestly over all me and my family enjoyed the stay !!! Beautiful home and a beautiful town I would love to visit during the snow season .

Great place & great location

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and it was perfect. 5 minutes to South Ridge, 10 minutes to Jordan. Super quiet and private. Fully stocked with anything you would need to entertain a family for a week. Coffee machines, toaster, microwave, grill, even a slow cooker. Plenty of pots, pans and dishware to feed a family but not have to clean dishes nightly. Nothing better than that. Glad we found this place and had a great week at Sunday River!

Mini Getaway

Mini getaway with my husband and brought our puppy as it was a pet friendly home which was great to find. I normally don’t write reviews but for price paid felt I needed to share and expected something more. Check in process was super easy. Home location right off a main street that was somewhat busy but overall quiet (stayed during a work days/hours). Backyard spacious but not fenced so had to keep our puppy leashed when outside. Loved that it offered a path/trail to River however couldn’t find this trail as shrubs/trees overgrown. Home had a moldy smell and ants seen. Hot tub was a plus though for a evening cap. Feel this home is great for a winter stay as it is very close to slopes but not so much a great place for a summer stay.

Great home and location for a large group

The home was great for a large group! Large kitchen and dining area, and plenty of room in the living room area. The bedrooms are set up separately which makes it quiet for all which was perfect when you have a baby with you. Easy ride to the lodge for skiing, nice trails in back of house for a quick snowshoe. So nice to have a large mudroom for boots and coats. It was very clean, tons of towels, great hot tub on the deck. Wish it had a fireplace, but you can't have everything :) Only negs: We have 3 pro chefs in our family, who usually travel with their own knives but didn't this time. I would suggest bringing your own steak knives and chopping knives. Other than that, the kitchen was more than fully equipped for us. Also check out at 10am is way too early! Kim & George were great, tried to get us in there a bit early since we had an infant and had no electricity where we came from. Beautiful home, superb set up, would love to go back!

Skiing Vacation - Feb

Location near Sunday River Resort was Great. Parking was more than Sufficient and property would be interesting in non snow season. Entrance Vestibule was nice to store outdoor clothing and Skis and such. Outdoor hot tub was used and required nightly after Skiing and Hiking days and large barbecue was only used once unfortunately. Interior had more than sufficient bedrooms and close by washrooms on 2 levels. Open kitchen/dining/livingroom was large with room for all. The larger Dining Table easily sat us all and was used eating and gaming and we did not even get to use the smaller kitchen table. Reclining couch was used by all and well enjoyed. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances modern and island nicely large to do all prep work and act as buffet table. Washer and Dryer were used for wet snow wear and worked great. We would’ve have all stayed longer if not for work and tired Skiing Legs. We would certainly visit again and the group had discussions about this already for another ski trip. Overall we were appreciative of the accommodations.

Tough Mountain 2025

We had 4 generations in town for the annual competition at Sunday river, the house was lovely, large, yet open. It is not on the main drag so little traffic noise, 3 minutes from the lodge but still feels like in the country.As I am new to VRBO I did not know what to expect, I would recommend this home to anyone.

Probably great during in season

The home itself was nice, however, there was warm weather and the AC didn’t work downstairs and there is no AC upstairs nor any screens in windows to open them. Also there were huge black ants inside the home everywhere I turned and the hot tub was unusable. Very cute home, and could feel the love but disappointed in the quality for almost 1k for a two night stay.
