「Great place」

「The location was really good for us and the area. The rental was clean and had every thing you would need. We stayed in the first of Sept and there is one small AC for the unit that is located in the bedroom. It was off when we arrived and took several hours to cool down and from there we left it on and it was cool enough when we got back in the evenings. A really nice couple owns it and they live on the property but let you have your own space. The outside space was nice to have for our use...

「We used the property as a home base while touring southern South Dakota. A sign as you enter stating "No shoes" would be helpful. The stairs to the loft could be a problem for some individuals」

「This was a great little place for our family to stay! Everyone had their own place to sleep and hang out together. Loved it! The only thing I didn’t realize before we got there (my own lack of reading) was that there wasn’t AC. 」

「This is the perfect place to stay for all of your Black Hills adventures! Located in downtown Custer within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, laundromat, and a grocery store. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bucket of snacks, and a binder full of tourist information. Clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Great place to stay in Custer. The loft is extremely clean and nicely put together. The location is perfect for all surrounding activities, and it’s nice to be able to walk to dinner. Its’s lovely to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a rental. The beds are comfortable! We would happily book again. 」

「The property was very clean and had all amenities that one would need for a short or longer stay. It was conveniently located in downtown close to all the restaurants and bars. Parking was not an issue even though it was Gold Discovery Days. There was also a Custer State Park pass that was avaliable for use. Would definitely stay there again.」

「The unit was very clean and had nice furnishings. The only drawback for us is that we were in the Black Hills to go ATV riding and there wasn't a great place to park our trailer and the steep hills and narrow streets to the place made it challenging to get there. We would stay here again as long as we could find a place to unhook our trailer safely.」

「The pictures represented the property really well. The house was well stocked with the essentials and with extras like snacks, teas, shampoo, soap, lotion, etc. Boomer and Angie was hands down the best hosts we have ever had. They saw us look under the hood of our vehicle and asked if we needed help. They took our trash away when it was full. I just can't say enough nice things about the place or the people.」

「This little property is a nice get away when looking for a vacation spot. 」

「This was pefect for a long girls' weekend. Food, coffee, shops minutes away in walking distance, and I mean right across the street. Safe, clean, modern. Custer is a quiet town after 9pm, no street noise. Climate control was great as well. We will definitely rent here again. Very nice property. I would buy this and keep it for my own vacation use!」
