"Great location and beautiful garden with views across the hills. Spotlessly clean and well maintained with all the things you may need for your holiday. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful and cared about us and the property with pride. Local supermarkets, petrol station and IKEA were only a mile down the road plus a five minute walk from the property was a pub serving food and an excellent fish n chips shop! Buses into town from outside the chippy were every 10 minutes or sooner!"

In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Hotel is in a very good location in the centre of Reading. It has good gym, fun and free games in the lobby and nice cocktails. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice, however the only reason I've given this 4 stars is due to the room smelling of stale smoke. Other than that we would definitely return and would recommend to others."

"Cannot recommend this hotel enough! It’s clean, modern and the staff are friendly. It was very inexpensive (may not be all the time but we got a great deal) so honestly I really shouldn’t complain. I really liked the idea of having a water tap (hot and cold) in the hallways. I greatly dislike drinking water from the bathroom tap no matter how many times hotels say it’s safe. So this is a great way to avoid plastic bottles and kettles. Food is at the American diner that’s part of the hotel. You have to pay separately but it’s fine. Only thing though, there was some weird noise (maybe very loud music or someone hitting a wall?) very late in the night so I guess the rooms are not as soundproof as they ought to be. But with great AC, a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom, it’s still a great room."

"The staff were very helpful and parking was a breeze! Our room was snug, comfortable, and quiet. It's hard for our family of 4 to enjoy sharing a room, but this was a great spot! The location is great for walking to City Center and avoiding the congestion fees. Some might find the walk too far and although we didn't take the bus, it would have been easy because there were a ton of stops heading into City Center."
