We had a great experience until my daughter got sick and we had to leave a day early. The Lucerne staff would not refund our last nights stay even though I talked to them about our pending departure a day early and checked out at 1pm the day before our original check out date. The staff responded that they were sending the cleaning staff in immediately. I’d be surprised if they weren’t able to sell that room for the night. The hotel was very busy due to summer travelers.

Meh. A little better than a 3 star facility, 4 is too high. Very expensive for “what you get”. Clearly it benefits from their not being many hotel choices in the area; dated room, infuriating television service, nonsensical (and loud) air conditioning system, no in room amenities - and plastic water cups in the bathroom (think Motel 6). Bed was comfy with decent pillows tho.

The staff was professional and accommodating. It is a perfect location being right next to the 1 train. The neighborhood is quiet and right next to Central Park. The room was spacious and clean. I look forward to coming back! Thank you!
