Its one of the oldest buildings in New Orleans so don't expect perfection everywhere you look. But, if you know what you're looking at its where someone who cares about the greats of jazz also sleeping there. It was a jazz museum once and the staff is very proud of where they work

We absolutely LOVE this hotel! We stay here each time we come to New Orleans. The charm and history of this place draws you in. You’re close enough to walk to any where you would love to go. The staff have always been wonderful and pleasant!

The decor was unique on the walls of the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful: Kim, Shaun, Curtis and Nomakki. The facility was very old and needed a little more up keep. No phone in the rooms, curtains torn, gaps in doors towards the outside, TV didn't work in some of the rooms, water leaking from ceiling in bathroom and hallway. After initial shock and some adjustments were made, we made the best of our stay.

Beware of the so called hotel…it’s more like a motel…I was disgusted as soon as I stepped into lobby furniture was old and filthy…pool was cloudy..court yard was infested with huge cockroaches and they were in the hallways too ..room smelled horrible old and mildewy …was supposed to stay til the 7th I checked out on the 5th and checked into another hotel…ruined the 1st half of my trip..if I could give this place 0 stars I would..

The hotel and property were clean. We appreciated the history of the hotel and the "charm" of staying in an older place. The A/C in our room was extremely cold. After walking around the French Quarter, coming back to a cold room was greatly appreciated. The room offered little sound proofing and the blinds on the door had gaps. There was a transom over the door and the hall light kept the room pretty bright. Our biggest complaint is the bed. They have a king mattress and box springs sitting atop a queen platform. You don't really notice until you're in bed and trying not to roll off the edges. Also one of the noisiest beds we've ever slept on. Any slight movement caused loud creaking. Some of our lights and outlets also didn't work.

I added a day to our stay and called ahead to try to ensure that the staff were aware. Since the room originally booked was a premier room we expected to need to have luggage held but were told we wouldn’t need to rush and that our new room would be priority. Basically it wouldn’t be seamless but that we would likely only need to wait a couple hours to get into our new room. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I was told no we wouldn’t have an extra hour when I dropped by the front desk which was inconsistent. Being we came in so late we could have opted to stay somewhere else but the staff was so accomplishing on the call I booked the extra night. There rooms had leaks from the ceiling and we had to pass a pile of water coming from our “premier room”. Our first comfort room didn’t even have the AC on. We took our kids out to play for a while, see some sights, swim and eat. By 4 our second room still was not ready and we waited in the lobby for our room to be cleaned for over an hour. Our children melting down. It’s not for lack of communication on our part. By obviously on theirs. I wouldn’t stay again. It’s location is alright but the buildings are run down and it’s a toss up on how nice the one you book in will be. On top of the poor service. One female staff member was amazing and so apologetic as she saw how hard we were struggling waiting for our room to be ready “any minute”. For over the extra cash and stay somewhere nicer. The price increase is worth it.

I need to preface this to say that I suffer from fibromyalgia so my needs are very particular and I’m hypersensitive to my surroundings. St. Pierre would probably be a good experience for most healthy people. I requested a ground floor room quite a bit ahead of time, but they didn’t have one for me because a group came in and took them. I tried my best to deal with it, but stairs are incredibly difficult for me. I could have downgraded, but the room was already pretty small and I was traveling with someone so I wasn’t keen on that. The AC did not work well at all. It was pretty old and did not put out much air. New Orleans in July is not fun without good AC. There was also a huge water damage stain and crack on the ceiling. It smelled like mildew, there was a dead spider in the tub, the fridge and table lamp weren’t working, the toilet paper roll was way too close to the toilet and the bed was so hard that with my pain disorder it was very painful to sleep on. So I decided to book a different hotel for the rest of my trip. That being said, the property is so charming and cute. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and she made sure that I was refunded for the rest of my booking. There are adorable cats that are friendly who live there. The street is quiet and feels safe. Had I been younger and in better shape I don’t think I’d have had a problem staying there had a couple things been fixed.

This hotel is unique since it's a historic restored property with antique pieces on display throughout the hotel and in the rooms. They have 2 beautiful swimming pools and nice gardens. The amenities are helpful with drinking water, coffee and tea. The location is very convenient as it is within the French Quarters and is in walkable distance to most attractions.

Room had blood on the mattress room had no Air Conditioning had bugs in the bathtub I what my money refunded back spoke spoke with the Hotel Manager was told Expedia would have to refunded the money back this Hotel is very nasty I want my money back

The room itself was clean, the staff was helpful, and the property was situated within a reasonable walking distance to Bourbon Street and other attractions. The downside were the rats and roaches on the property. It was disgusting and disheartening to say the least. To walk in or out of my hotel room and see huge roaches scattering is nerve wracking. Not to mention, there was a giant rat beside the pool when I was in it one night. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Personally, I would NOT recommend this hotel due to the rodent issue. No one wants to see roaches and rats roaming the property. Not a good look.

There was parking for $60.00 per night … not what the hotel site said . Had to move rooms , nothing available until 4pm the next day :( Second room was good :) First room , opened to the street, did not feel safe , could hear everything on the street & mattress was totally unexceptable. Staff was pleasant

Our stay was amazing. Quaint property with friendly and helpful staff. It had tons of character and just a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to go to! We will be coming back again!

The lady that works reception at night is extremely rude! But other than the place is VERY charming and everyone was very kind and helpful. They even allowed my family and I to swim past closing as long as we weren’t loud - which was such a treat. It’s in a great location and the vibe is exactly what you want from an old French Quarter hotel!
