「BEWARE. There are better options. If you're like me, Quality Inn Shenandoah Valley isn't where you want to stay. I like budget hotels and I have realistic expectations. All I want is reasonably clean rooms and reasonably friendly staff. I don't mind outdated furniture with some wear and tear, or if the location isn't ideal, etc. But this place felt like an abandoned prison. Totally beat up, floors and walls falling apart, burnt out bulbs, and in really bad shape basically everywhere. They...

「The staff was nice, the room was disgustingly dirty there were stains on the bed spreads and on the mattress themselves, the sink kept backing up with every use. The walls and baseboards were gross, the tub still had someone else’s hair in it. I definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to stay there.」

「The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough, and the water for showers was hot. We are not golfers so we could not evaluate that part of our stay. It was hard to find our room because it was in a very weird location and the girl didn’t really explain to us how to find it. The mountain and golf course view was very pretty.」

「After waiting for an hour for a room to be cleaned by the elevator ( wife recently had back surgery) our room was one away from the farthest from the elevator. Minus one star. Room was good, tv could do an upgrade. Very clean, shower awesome, breakfast buffet well you know. Ridge Restaurant was okay. Some food really good some not. Mountain View in distance. Nothing outstanding, but nice stay」

「We only stayed one night but had a wonderful time. The front desk staff was extremely nice and was able to get us into our room a little bit before standard check-in time. We ate dinner in the speakeasy and the food was delicious the bill was very reasonable. The only reason I took off one star for the property condition is because it’s an older hotel. But to be honest, the character you get from an older hotel is better and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be going back」
