"Pros: Es gibt ganz viele Wandermöglichkeiten und man kann die Ruhe genießen Cons: Allerdings sollte ein Mindestmaß an elektr. Geräten vorhanden sein. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und 2 Kochplatten. Es gab leider keine Möglichkeit das Bad zu heizen. Als Sitzgelegenheit gab es nur 5 Stühle."

"Die Wohnung war nicht richtig sauber. Auf den Schränken ist es sehr dreckig. Steckdosen dreckig. Stühle dreckig und teilweise kaputt. Vorhänge riechen richtig muffig und sind gelb grau abgelaufen. Sehr hohe Energiekosten zusätzlich. Ohne Heizung teilweise nicht auszuhalten. Nagetiere in der Zwischendecke. Internet ist bei schlechtem Wetter eine Katastrophe. "Pros: Das Haus ist wunderbar groß und perfekt für unser Familientreffen gewesen. Die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum spielen, egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und der Check-in lief reibungslos und sehr nett. Auch wurde auf Fragen sehr freundlich zeitnah geantwortet und geholfen. Es war alles da was man braucht und super sauber. Besser gehts eigentlich nicht :-) In der Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten das schöne Thüringen zu erkunden und gerade für Familien wird...

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

Good rooms, poor food. Cold bed.

"Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold. Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap. "

"Very clean and nice big room! No aircondition, so it was quite hot. We arrived at night, and was a bit confused where to get the keys but when we found the reception in the hotel a bit further up the street we got amazing service from the guy working in the restaurant there. They even made is food and served us perfectly although it was so late and everything else was closed. They really made our day! Breakfast was supernice and the staff so so friendly and serviceminded. We only stayed one night for transit, but we will remember it! "
