The room is clean, nice view from my balcony and the staffs were really friendly and helpful! Location is good too, short 10mins walk to city centre and walkable to places of interest. Love the beer at the bar next to the hotel. Strongly recommended!

Nice hotel, extremely well located downtown Neuchâtel, with easy parking and minutes away from the funicular and train station. I have never seen hotel staff this dedicated to their guest's comfort. Amazing team who went the extra mile on everything that made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely go back.

Fabulous hotel, walking proximity to everything.

Outstanding hotel just down the street from the beautiful lake. Walking distance from shops, eating, park. Will definitely stay here again. I extended our stay this time.

I loved my stay here. From first stepping through the front door, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lovely light filled room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was wonderful and spacious. The hotel is perfectly located just near the funicular down the hill from the station. Making it very easy to access. It is near the boat harbour for ferries, the museum and a quick and easy walk to the old town. I regret that I only had one night here. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent choice close to the city centre

Hotel des Arts was a positive surprise as the pictures of the hotel at time of the reservation were not that attractive. Service at reception was friendly and helpful, recently renovated rooms were spacious and in excellent condition, including also the bathroom. The only small minus comes from bed comfort which leaves room for improvement. Continental breakfast was typical and quite OK.

Very pleasant female receptionist when we checked in with bikes but she was unable to offer secure bike storage without checking with her supervisor which she did. Problem resolved with bikes stored in conference room. Thought about spending a second night and suggested to the male receptionist in the morning that a solution would be to store them on the balcony. He was very abrupt and very rude saying it was not possible. At that moment we decided we were not going to spend another night there. Would suggest some serious customer service training. Breakfast and staff were great. Would not recommend this hotel if you were travelling by bike.
