「Here’s the revised review with that added: Overall, our stay was just okay. One thing that was disappointing was that the “hot tub” was actually a shared community hot tub that was almost always occupied by other guests. The listing didn’t make it clear that it wasn’t private. We also ended up in a “cottage” that was actually on the second floor of a house, requiring stairs. 「We had a great stay in this cute little hideway! It was cozy and comfortable. 」

「The home is in fair condition for an older home and about what one should expect with the exception of the tub and shower. It is not acceptable and needs replaced. It is located on the top of a hill with great views of the mining pit. It was quiet and comfortable but needs some TLC.」

「We were in town for a wedding in Spearfish and decided to stay in downtown area, and chose this little cottage based on the reviews. We were not disappointed! We had everything we needed, easy parking, warm cottage with all the amenities. The locals are SO FRIENDLY! We LOVED the area, and definitely are considering a return trip for a vacation getaway to explore the region in a bit warmer weather. We will definitely stay at this property again!」
