You get what you pay for
For the price it was nice enough. We only stayed one night because our flight landed late. And for that, it was great. But I wouldn’t stay longer. The bed was soft, but the pillows were not. We had a small IKEA throw as our blanket. The tv had 3 channels none in English. But the breakfast was nice, eggs & toast.

The staff at the Christima Residence were excellent and very attentive. They catered to our every need and were very accommodating to our special requests. One of the hotel staff named Pradeep was very polite, welcoming, and did a great job and making us feel very welcome. I would rate this property as one of the best in Sri Lanka.

Great hotel in convenient location near airport
We stayed here for a couple hours before a flight. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely return if I need a nice room near the airport.

Convenient for airport.
Booked this as close to airport and included in our flight price to Colombo. Lovely clean hotel, pick up from airport for 2000 rupees (£10 ish) they also looked after our bag while we travelled to Jaffna for a few days. We then stayed another 2 nights. Staff friendly. You Need to pre order breakfast as we tried on the morning and not available? Pool great after a busy day.

Very nice share apartment .
Lovely stay however we did not realise it was a share accomodation. We had our own room and bathroom , both very nice, and a share kitchen lounge laundry . The share area was only with one other room so it was not a problem just a surprise to us . The units are new and very nice as is the pool area. It is a bit of a walk to the supermarket , about 30 min walk, The beach about a 15 min walk and many cafes and restaurants about 15 to 20 mins . As we only stayed one night it was a bit hard to say if we really liked the area. The hotel was definitely good value and very nice as were the staff.

Great pool, very helpful staff.
Very central location but off the Main Street and nice and quiet. The pool is excellent and wonderful to relax and cool off in after a hot day in town. We were surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen and living room attached. Walk to everywhere, great place to come after or before your long flight. We stayed 2 nights and will definitely recommend Christima residence to anyone.

Enjoyable stay
We were very impressed, small complex with pool. Staff thoughtful and helpful. Bedrooms and en-suite clean and adequate, kitchen and lounge area are very generous and well equipped. Located in quite area, but only a short walk to bars and restaurants.

Comfortable Guesthouse near beach with pool
Guest House basic room with bathroom facilities good size with a/c & mosquito net. Good size swimming pool close to main road shops and restaurants near by, Facilities to make tea coffee, walking distance to the beach. Very helpful staff. We felt safe here. Married couple in our 60s.

Nice hotel, nice pool. Big rooms.
Large rooms, if you have kids and are after a two bedroom apartment this place is a good stop for your first night in Sri Lanka. Nice sized pool, walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. No problem with noise other than a rooster next door that thought dawn was a couple of hours earlier than it was. Ear plugs wouldn't have gone astray. Hotel is being expanded, but we didn't gear any construction noise. Lovely clean spot for a stay close to the airport.

Value for money
We only stayed for one night between arriving in Colombo and heading inland, but we really felt we got incredible value for money here. A nice two bedroom with kitchen (which we never had time to use) opening to a lovely pool, just minutes walk from both the beach and loads of restaurants. We'd clearly stay here again, and possibly for longer.

Enjoyable stay and great location
Generally very helpful staff. The hotel would need to be updated (the windows could not lock, tap needs changing and wifi only accessible in the lobby with constant login code needed) and swimming pool to be regularly cleaned. The breakfast was varied and very nice.

Convenient, well equipped and clean hotel
We stayed twice in this hotel, at the beginning and at the end of our trip to Sri Lanka. Great apartments, clean and equipped. Right at the center of town, 25 minutes drive from the airport.

A homey feel
This is a family run hotel and everyone put in a lot of effort to make our stay memorable. The rooms are apartment style which is great if you want to cook on your own and there are many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the beach is very close too. The pool is great and there are stunning views out of the balconies. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

The staff was friendly. The kitchen stuff is arranged nicely. It is easy to find without asking staff here. Although no breakfast and dinner, one can easily find it nearby.

The family apartment was huge. Two double beds and a single one. Huge rooms with ac. Two bathrooms. Pool. No dinner service. Did get only 2 towels for the apartment and one soap per bathroom...

Trevligt och fräscht boende med egen terrass och fräsch gemensam pool. Ingen information när man kom om att man betalade för frukost som man egentligen inte ville ha. 3 rostade mackor med lite smör, marmelad och ett stekt ägg. Drygt 50 sek/dag och person. Ingen städning under de 4 dagarna vi var där. Vatten och toalettpapper fick man fråga efter. Transporten dom vi hade bokat via hotellet fanns inte kvar när vi kom ut från flygplatsen. Fick därför köpslå med en annan.

Wir hatten das Zimmer für unsere letzte Nacht in Sri Lanka. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße relativ zentral in Negombo. Fußläufig sind viele Restaurants und ein Wine-Store erreichbar. Das Zimmer war super sauber. Die Klima-Anlage hat funktioniert und war sehr leise, es gab einen Safe und warmes Wasser in der Dusche (in Sri Lanka nicht unbedingt normal). Es gab einen großen Aufenthaltsraum (für mehrere Zimmer) mit Kochgelegenheit, Kühlschrank, Fernseher + Couch. Der Pool war der Hammer - groß, sauber inkl. Liegen mit Auflagen und Handtüchern. Das Hotel hat ein günstiges TukTuk zum Airport organisiert (morgens um 01:30) alles hat perfekt geklappt Hotel ist für unseren nächsten Sri Lanka Urlaub definitiv wieder eingeplant Sehr nettes Personal! Danke!

Small but nice hotel in negombo.
Hotel was mostly clean and the room had air conditioning and a good shower. The bed was not the most comfortable. Reception was very nice. All in all the value for money was very good at this hotel

Fonctionnel et bien placé
Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet hotel qui offre un cadre apaisant dans une ville bruyante. Bien placé, très proche du front de mer, rejoindre le centre ville a pieds est possible, mais un coup de tuk-tuk sera bien plus rapide. L'accueil de Fernando est charmant. Quoique vous vouliez faire sur l'île, demandez lui, il peut vous l'organiser avec sérieux. Les appartements sont très spacieux et fonctionnels. Si vous réservez une chambre vous partagerez la cuisine et le salon avec d'autres locataires. La salle de bain mériterait un peu plus de soin. La literie est un peu raide. La piscine a effleurement est très belle, et incontestablement le point fort de l'hôtel.

Vi bodde här i 15 dgr och vi fick verkligen valuta för våra pengar. Stort rum med sköna sängar, rent och fint. Stor, välskött pool i trädgården. Mkt vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra läge nära ett flertal bra restauranger.

Great spot to sleep in!
This is a well maintained house with a friendly owner, somehwat tucked away from 'the strip' full of restaurants and such. Therefore, a peaceful and quiet sleep, right before or after your flight. Great bed and a nice pool! Note: as far as I know, there is no breakfast available.
