Lovely place in Naxos

We arrived very late, but were met by the owner and given our keys. He was very friendly and gave us information about Naxos. The beds were a little hard for us, but others may like that level of firmness, so it’s down to the individual. Location was great for the beach and port. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Unfortunately I had a piece of clothing stolen off the washing line outside, so I’d suggest bringing stuff in if you stay in the lower rooms, but this was no fault of the hotel, just an opportunist. All staff were really nice and they even looked after our bags and lent us a beach umbrella on our last day.

Blanket and towels dirty, light in the bathroom not working, position of the hotels on map wrong, no one answered when I called to do check in and to ask info about the position. I found it randomly going around. The bed was hard as a rock, I have back pain probably for a week or two.

The room was clean and we were upgraded too but the beds weren’t the most comfortable and they were two twin beds that you couldn’t really push together to make a double. Additionally the Wi-Fi was basically non existent being on the second floor. It would only connect right by the door and even then it wouldnt load much. Other than that we enjoyed our stay being close to the beach and the town.

Not the best stay.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was nice but the beds were really uncomfortable and the walls were not soundproof so we were continuously woken up early by other guests leaving the hotel. I had an unpleasant interaction with the owner who shouted at me because my drink had spilled in my bag and on to the bed, a spillage that I immediately cleaned and informed the owner about so that we could get new, dry sheets, and I apologised profusely for the spill but he would not accept the apology and told me off for not being careful. The interaction really upset me as I know it’s not the most ideal situation for the hotel owner but I would have appreciated some more gratitude in the way it was handled, luckily did not come into contact with the owner after this.

Finding the place was a challenge. The signage is high up on the wall on one side of the building, but the entrance around the corner doesn't have anything. More by luck than judgement we found the back door. No one was at reception. Eventually, a cleaner found a man who came to check us in. Don't be misled by the name. This is not a hotel. It is very basic. Water trickled out the shower and it was either piping hot or cold. The supervisor was adamant I was doing it wrong. It is not rocket science to adjust a tap. The lowest setting for the aircon was 18 degrees and it didn't cool the room at all. Again, when I complained, the supervisor fiddled with the settings and then put them back to exactly what I had it at, tried to convince me it was colder and said I didn't know how to work the remote. The 2 single beds had the hardest most uncomfortable mattresses. Most of the other rooms in the complex had drying racks for towels on the balcony as well as a table and chairs. My room was basic and did not have any such luxury. The plug in the bathroom basin was useless, so washing over the basin had to be done with the tap running all the time. The cleaners go in daily, whether you like it or not. Sleep was constantly disturbed due to inconsiderate guests' loud talking and banging doors, which echoed around the whole building. There was no possibility of sleeping in later as the cleaners came in early and furniture was moved around with more door banging. Close to the beach.

La condición de la habitación está algo degradada, pero lo que sí es que vale la pena por el precio y la ubicación. La playa la tienes a unas cuadras, muy bonita y perfecta para nadar, además en la esquina encuentras varios super.

La struttura è a due passi dalla spiaggia di St. George, a 5 min a piedi dal centro e dal porto e vicino a supermercati e taverne greche. In zona anche molte agenzie di noleggio auto/moto. La stanza veniva pulita ogni giorno ed ogni 2 giorni venivano cambiate le asciugamano. Non è presente bagnoschiuma ma solo sapone mani e carta wc. Lo studios è attrezzato con un piccolo angolo cucina con l'indispensabile. Il climatizzatore e il frigorifero erano funzionanti. La stanza era posizionata al seminterrato aveva un piccolo balconcino, arredi un pò vecchiotti e 2 letti singoli con materasso scomodo. Le cose da migliorare erano i letti ed i materassi e le lenzuola anche se pulite erano un pò ingiallite. La cosa che mi è piaciuta è stata che al.nostro arrivo 1h ora prima del orario previsto la stanza era già pronta. Attenzione che le tasse da pagare in loco segnalate da expedia non sono corrette.

Titolare della struttura scontroso e molto maleducato, la reception è sempre chiusa e per qualsiasi cosa devi chiamare e aspettare che arrivi. C’è scritto navetta gratuita disponibile ma la rinnega, prenotata e confermata fino al giorno prima, il giorno stesso si presenta nella struttura dicendo che non esiste questa cosa e che dovevamo arrangiarci a piedi, dubitando addirittura sul fatto che avessimo soggiornato lì, grazie a lui ho perso il traghetto e ho dovuto ricomprarmi i biglietti. La pulizia lascia desiderare, per quattro giorni ho dovuto usare le stesse salviette, il terzo giorno le salviette per il viso sono sparite e quindi ero addirittura senza. Al momento della prenotazione è stato richiesto un letto matrimoniale e invece abbiamo trovato due letti singoli. Il bagno molto piccolo e nel momento della doccia si allagava tutto.

we booked a triple room, but we were two travellers, and when we arrive we got a smaller room because we were two. owner asked us to change the room. he was very disorganized. Also i wrote for trasfert more than one time, and never got a answer, but transfert is a service provided.

Nice location

Veldig sentralt og greit leilighetshotell. Litt harde senger, men ellers var det helt perfekt. Hyggelig personell og vi kommer helt sikkert til å bo her igjen ved en senere anledning.

ΜΑΠΑ ΤΟ ΚΑΡΠΟΥΖΙ

Τηλεόραση χαλασμενη.Κρεβατια σκληρά σαν πετρα.Στη προσφορά έγραφε με θέα κήπο αλλά τελικά ήταν ένα υπόγειο με θέα τοίχο και από πάνω δρόμος,όσο μπορούσες δηλαδή να δεις τα πόδια των περαστικων.Ντροπη για 50 ευρω.Το μόνο θετικό είναι η τοποθεσια.Βρισκεται στη χώρα και δίπλα στη παραλία Αγ.Γεωργιου.
