"The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were very kind. The room was clean, but the property and furnishings were pretty worn out. The bar sink in our room leaked throughout our stay, even though I reported it to housekeeping. There was no attempt to repair it. Late one afternoon the toilet clogged up about the time that the housekeeping/maintenance staff was clocking out. I spoke with one of the housekeepers as she was getting into her car to leave, and she suggested that I let the front desk clerk know about the clog and they would call a plumber. However, when I reported it to the clerk, she said that they couldn’t get a plumber to come until the next morning—she then handed me a toilet plunger and suggested that I try to unclog the toilet myself. I felt as though I was in a sitcom episode! Although the clerk was polite, I just didn’t think that this was an appropriate response, and I sensed that the hotel owners don’t care to spend money to maintain their property. We weren’t offered another room. So, even though everyone who worked on the property was very kind, I think that the property is very poorly managed and maintained. We won’t be staying here on our next visit."

"First off Missy was awesome!! She reached out a couple days before check in with instructions and made herself completely available if we needed anything. The condo was just as pictured and stocked well with all the necessities. The unit was clean and the views were spectacular."

" The beach and ocean were beautiful as always, proximity to the pier is a plus. We don't use the pool or hot tub. My only negative would be that the detsils for the place listed beach chairs. I mistook this for beach chair service , as we have had with units we've rented in the past. I'll check closer in the futurer as beach chair services for the week are 50/day plus gratuity."

"2 money surprises. First, you pay a nightly parking fee of $25 plus tax. That cost us an extra $187. Second, if you want beach chairs and an umbrella to sit on the lovely beach, you pay an outside vendor $50 plus tax plus tip a day. Pretty pricey!! So bring your own!! Breakfast is mediocre at best. Towel quality wasn't great."

"Coastal Vibes staff are the best!! Have worked with them for many years here and for Destin West. This condo has been a favorite of ours. It has everything we need to have a wonderful vacation. It is always clean, well taken care of and a perfect location. We love it so much, we have already booked it for 2 weeks next year!! Highly recommend Summerwind 201 and the Coastal Vibe group!!!"
