Hi Suyoun, we spoke face to face when you checked in and I gave you advice regarding the hikes in the area. You wrote down my personal mobile so you could text or call me if you needed assistance.Our staff access the wifi daily so they can view which rooms they need to service. Sadly I never heard from you, for if I had, I would have been more than happy to assist you with accessing the wifi. Thank you for staying with us.

Please be assured the building meets the strict safety compliance requirements, a building safey audit is conducted annually. No guest has ever fallen or hurt themselves on the stair well. However, during winter when ice is present, we do warn guests to take care when descending down the stairs and to use the handrail.

Hello Anne, we are very sorry to hear you were not happy with your stay. Firstly, regarding the black marks on the ceiling above the bumps. Please be assured they were not mould marks but rather the handy work of an over zealous teenager who clearly became bored on the top bunk. This took place two days prior to your arrival. We wanted to get it painted over but then would have faced the issue of guests being subjected to paint smell. It will be rectified during our quiet season towards April. We haven't had anyone else complain about the room being musty, the rooms are aired out regularly after each stay. I cannot answer to the dusty shelves, lamp or surfaces, this most definitely should not be the case. All surfaces are wiped down and sanitized between stays. Regarding the noise, we were fully booked when you stay and whilst we ask our guests to please consider others in the building, we cannot always control the noise they make. We apologise sincerely for this. Regarding your request for a late check out, we cannot locate anywhere where you have requested a late check out and we a apologise for missing this. Our communication is very clear, during the peak summer and winter season and because of Covid, we simply cannot entertain early check in or late check out. Sanitizing the rooms is of upmost importance for all of our guests. We hope you will understand. Regarding the staining on the outside of the bathroom (not bedroom) windows, this has been caused by the guttering on the very top of the three story building. We are waiting for a cherry picker to arrive so the old guttering can be replaced. We acknowledge it is unsightly on the outside of the bathroom window and we do apologise for this. We hope to have this issued resolved very soon. Thank for your review and thank you for staying with us.

Thank you very much for your feedback Sheena,. We have this morning tightened the screw on the frying pan handle and replaced the shower shelf that someone has taken. We are sincerely grateful to you for letting us know. We do get the carpet cleaning done in the summer however, during the winter, we sterilize the area and manually try to remove stains. Sadly that red wine stain was very stubborn indeed. Thanks again for staying with us, we appreciated it.

Hi Suzanne, thank you for placing feedback.We are sorry to hear about the leak in the cistern. Our service staff noticed it when they serviced your room after you had checked out. We most certainly would have had a plumber fix it during your stay had we been notified. The plumber said it was a small drip from the cistern so not a lot of water on the floor but we do apologize for the inconvenience and have since had this repaired. Regarding the remote, there are instructions in the room manual but we are often asked to show our guests how to use the freeview remote. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. We are very surprised to hear about the shower. That is the one thing our customers always seem happy with when they stay. Plenty of pressure and lots of hot water. We feel sad you didn't enjoy your stay. Please consider notifying the property when things are not to your satisfaction. We we would most definitely have done everything in our power to put things right with you.
