We did a quick weekend stay and it was absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful, with private beach access, it was almost like it was just us the entire weekend. It’s on cable beach so it quiet, and very intimate, but there’s restaurants and stores in walking distance. Lonah met every one of our accommodations with a smile, even arranging a sunset couples massage on the beach. And we highly recommend Big Mamma’s Taxi service as well, it will be recommended by the property as well

Came here with my husband for a much needed vacation from our daily grind as business owners. Its was for my "birthday" but really it recharged both of our batteries. Communication with the host was easy and always attentive. Our hostess Lonah met us upon arrival and made us feel at home our entire stay. This was our first time in the Bahamas, and we travel all over the world...but we have decided BLUE OCEAN VILLAGE is where we will come to recharge for now on. Already considering a family vacation here with our adult children.

Fantastic location with easy access to the clear water beach with minimal crowds. The room was clean and spacious and good food options around. I'd highly recommend this place for any solo or group travel! The only small issue was a dog in one of the units, I think having a loose dog charge at visitors can be uncomfortable.

Fabulous service at a modest property. The room was nothing special and the beach was just ok, but the hosts were so kind and accommodating that the place deserves ten stars! Walkable to great restaurants. If you book here you will not be disappointed.

The beach was semi private, which is nice stores , restaurants within walking distance , Lonah was very helpful and responsive to needs , you can take the jitneys for a 1.50 downtown which is great , its nice having the beach chairs , they do need new covers as these are showing alot of use but still useable. Great neighborhood as well.

Lonah, our host, was the gem of our stay. She was kind, helpful and at our every beck and call. We were in the family apartment. It was spacious, well equipped and the beds are super comfy. The apartment itself is in need of minor repairs and a bit worn. But we had everything we needed. Within walking distance of food, groceries and the beach is literally steps away. Its in an older quiet part of Nassau which we loved. The city busses are $1.50 and super easy to use to get downtown. Would recommend if you are looking for service, peace and having everything you need provided.

We absolutely loved our time at Blue Ocean Village! Lorna was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed anything. She checked in with us daily to make sure everything was going well, which made us feel so cared for during our stay. We talked several times about how happy we were that we chose this location. We stayed in the two-bedroom Flamingo Suite, and it was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The private beach is absolutely beautiful. During our stay, we saw three stingrays, a manatee, and even a nurse shark right along the shore! We snorkeled every day and found so many beautiful shells. Big Mama’s Taxi Service was top-notch—reliable, informative, and a wonderful resource for getting around and learning more about the area. One of our favorite little touches was the friendly chicken and Brandy, the village dog, who roam around the property and make it feel so warm and homey. Blue Ocean Village exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and memorable getaway!

Our stay at Blue Ocean Village was lovely. We stayed in the Bimini Studio which was exactly as advertised. Less than a 30sec walk to an absolutely beautiful stretch of beach. There was enough seating/lounge chairs for about 18ppl, but there were never more than 4-6ppl (including us 2!) in the lounge area at a time - perfection! Lonah and the rest of the staff were very sweet and super attentive/easy to get a hold of. We visited Baha Mar, for an afternoon, which was your typical large scale resort and much preferred the privacy, quiet and serenity that Blue Village offered. We are already planning visiting in the future with the rest of the family!
