Franklin,TN. voted to be one of the top 5 small cities in the country to see. Everything NEW but the house itself. Situated on a quiet dead end street that is part of the original Battlefield. The newly renovated and professionally decorated Harmony cottage awaits your arrival! ! Attention has been given to every detail "top to bottom" from the beautiful refinished hardwood floors to the ship lap ceilings throughout. ALL furniture has been chosen with care using brand new, along with some antique pieces.
As you walk in the front door you will be welcomed by an open concept living room, dining room, kitchen, so you can enjoy your family time together.
The newly tiled bath with soapstone vanity, the large walk in shower and luxury linens, are there to pamper you, after a long day of enjoying your out and about time!
Choose the bedroom with king sized bed or queen sized bed for a restful night on plush bedding and linens. Both bedrooms feature ceiling fans, dimmer switches, luggage racks and much more,
Fully stocked kitchen has all you will need to fix a full meal or just a simple snack. Right across from dining area is a full sized washer and dryer for you convenience.
Just out the back door, in the kitchen, you will find a stainless steel gas grill, beautiful new patio furniture, and a completely fenced in backyard for your privacy. Enjoy playing a fun game of corn hole while enjoying the outdoors.
So let yourself in to sit a spell, (or longer) relax , then head out to visit one of the most unique and quaint little cites in the country. As you stroll towards downtown Franklin (less than 1 mile walk) you will pass many historic sites along the way, snapping pictures as you go to share with others when you get home . This walk will be an experience you will never forget. ( cottage is less than 1 mile from the downtown area)
Downtown Franklin is known for all it's unique shops, restaurants, tours, antiquing, historical sights, live music venues, playhouse, Civil War sites, etc. and about the friendliest folks you will meet anywhere.
Be sure to save some time for visiting the quaint little Village of Leiper's Fork located about 8 miles west of downtown Franklin, for another big surprise or should I say treat. It's like a step back in time where more of the friendly southern hospitality will welcome you to the Village....antiquing, art galleries, restaurants, live music most every Thurs , Fri, Sat, Sun.
If you want to venture to downtown Nashville it is approximately 20 miles North of Franklin taking I-65 N. Lots to do there too!
After enjoying fun filled days visiting all the fantastic things there are to do in Franklin, Leiper's Fork or Nashville, head yourself right back to Harmony Cottage to relax, fix a nice home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or a snack, watch some TV, sit on the patio, or make plans to go out and kick up your heels for the evening. So many casual dining places available in downtown Franklin along with many upscale dining places that you can still dress casual as remember you are enjoying " Southern Hospitality".....Some places do require reservations so be sure to call ahead to make sure you have a table.
So.....come on in and see for yourself as Harmony Cottage is ready and waiting to welcome you with "open arms"....This will be an experience you will never forget. It will become " Your home away from home."

Very Lovely Home

Family weekend

What a great place to stay for a quick little getaway! I brought my family here for the weekend and it could not have been better. The cottage is perfect for you and your partner or a couple of friends to relax and enjoy what Franklin has to offer. I would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful House

Very stylish interior and a comfortable bench on the front porch. It is an 18 minute walk into town. I enjoyed my stay here.

Clean and Quiet

We loved our stay and it was definitely close to the historic downtown area of Franklin. Due to road work, it was not advisable to walk, but definitely an easy drive. It's also a perfect location to reach many other small towns around Franklin as well. We would definitely stay here again, as all was so clean and a great dead end street, so no through traffic.

“The Golden Girls” Roadtrip

Three of us over 65 spent time 7 days and 8 nights at the cottage home. It was amazing! Clean, comfortable beds, every appliance you need, quiet, perfect location , and a quiet dead end street. I am already recommending to friends who have Nashville/ Franklin on their bucket list. If we return, I will definately seek out this rental again, the best we have ever rented!

Graduation Weekend

We would definitely return for a future visit. We stayed along with our Son and Daughter-in-Law. Perfect for two couples. Very comfortable, cozy, and the beds slept extremely well. Obvious that the Cottage gets attention that Travelers expect but more times than not, don’t get.

Home away from home...

This was our second stay at Harmony Cottage and we love it! It's a perfect little cottage for my husband and I. It's clean, well-appointed, wonderful location, quiet street, and a very good bed. I personally love the walk-in shower with a hand-held shower head. Kitchen is really nice with everything you could possibly need. We'll try to stay there on our next trip to Franklin...probably 2 years down the road when our next grandchild graduates from high school.

Amazing home in a perfect part of Franklin!

I can’t say enough about the owners and house manager Sandy, AMAZING people! The home was freshly remodeled and was perfect for a family of 4, two younger kids and two parents. Everything was in great condition and entry and exit was a breeze. We will stay here again, the location is so great, 10 min walk to historic downtown Franklin or 2 min drive. Felt like home and photos are very accurate. Thank you for having us as guests!

Great location in Franklin. Cute little house. Clean with very comfortable bed. Convenient to have washer and dryer. Owner responded quickly to questions we have regarding check in and wifi. Only issue is a smell inside the house in central location. Smelled like a dead animal in central portion of house. Did not smell in bedroom when sleeping but which I made the owner aware of when we left.

Perfect Location in Franklin

We loved that the location was close to all the civil war sites we wanted to visit and the downtown area. All the amenities you could want! Washer and dryer was a plus since it rained almost the entire time we were there. Extremely clean! The house is beautifully decorated/remodeled. Only con was the a/c ducts made a strange noise when turning on throughout the night, which I think we just had heightened awareness listening to civil war stories all day lol. King bed was comfortable, however we prefer a more solid pillow. Would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend this listing.

Another Great Experience at the Harmony Cottage!

This was our third time staying at the Harmony Cottage. Overall it was another great stay. We had only one minor negative comment. Upon our arrival the cottage had a strong cleaning agent smell. We realized that the cleaners may had just left but perhaps they could use a different cleaning agent or ventilate the cottage before leaving. The location is very convenient to the downtown area and the cottage is very comfortable. The reason for the 4 star rating on the neighborhood is the appearance of the house next door. It's a. shame that the owners don't take better care of the exterior. The remainder of the homes are well maintained and make for a lovely street. We'll be back.

Harmony Cottage was delightful. Proximity to downtown Franklin. suggestions - handrail from porch. Light on parking side of house needs to be adjusted / replaced Shower needs to be cleaned. Mildew in grout.

Perfect cottage for a get-away to Franklin!

The cottage is so close to downtown. The cleanliness was great. The house was cozy and warm. It was perfect for my first time visit to Franklin. Great communication with Sandy the property manager. One suggestion that I do have is recycling. I noticed that the neighbor had put out a blue bucket along with the black garbage bucket. Before that I figured, there was no recycling in the neighborhood. Please consider this. I definitely recommend Harmony Cottage for anyone looking for a nice place!

Cute and Good location but….

The house is cute and within walking distance to downtown and the neighborhood looked nice. However, there were some issues. The living area. Kitchen, and dining room had a really bad musty/ urine smell. The back door was busted where the padlock is so the padlock was basically useless. . To top all this off I was notified at 11:30PM informing me that the power would be out from 8am-11am the following morning. My girls and I felt uneasy about staying there without an adequate lock and the owners were unable to get someone there to repair it and didn’t address the offensive odor at all so we decided to cut our trip a day short and head home. I requested a refund for our last day due to the aforementioned issues and was denied. Very disappointing.

Lovely house, lousy rules

The house was lovely with very comfortable furnishings. This was not in walking distance of downtown unless you are a long walker and you would have to walk a very busy street,. Also, there were specific rules that were not very accommodating. For instance, we had to take the trash can to the street and retrieve it and there were no more garbage bags other than the one in the can to begin with. So after we took out the garbage, we had no way to dispose of trash. There were rules about the heat and air, the sheets and towels, the garbage, etc. it would have been acceptable if the price was not so high but for what we paid, we expected a little more. There were absolutely no amenities: no shampoo, no K-cups, no sugar; we did not want to go buy groceries for a three day stay just to have a cup of coffee.
